Gantz? Gantz. I don't think it's that bad though...
Similar with Elfen Lied.

Akame ga Kiru gets seriously disturbing at times, but at other times it's quite the normal slice-of-life shonen. Quite bi-polic and off-putting. 😃

I think Battle Royale is the only manga to date that has made me slightly squeamish. There are quite a few other manga that I consider "disturbing," though not in the "ew gore" kind of way but more in the satirical implications (i.e. Franken Fran). Otherwise, I'm not very easily disturbed by manga.

I gotta read more battle royale, I watched the movies and read the first chapter of the manga XD I watched gantz and read elfen leid, they're gorey, but not quite disturbing 😛 I totaly want to check out franken fran now though XD

Almost anything by ITOU Junji Special mention goes to a oneshot called The Enigma of Amigara Fault. I still get uncomfortable thinking about it.

Mind you, this is before we start taking in all the weird H-stuff I've stumbled into. Those are better left out of this.

For gross and sometimes mindfuck, (but hilarious) its got to be the oneshots by Kago Shintaro especially Iwa and Izaemon, Lord of the ring and Superglue.

Then theres Brigit's supper, Night of the succubus and Bradherley no basha which are disturbing in a different way.

Plus Fire candy is also pretty dern disturbing, especially the first time you read it.

There are a few that come to mind right away.
Berserk, Wolf Guy - Ookami no Monshou, My Beloved Lady, Koroshiya 1, Kami no Kodomo(this one especially), and I second Gantz.

Disturbing hmmm...well a manga that gave me a weird feeling and made me step away from it for a set period of time(that's what I classify as disturbing)

those would be none...I'm not easily disturbed...but the most disturbing thing I've read thru would be
Franken Fran(gore),Gantz(gore),Kiseiijuu/Parasite(Premise),Sankarea(Love=Edible),

And one thats more sad than disturbing to me at least was a oneshot(I think)
don't remember its name but it was about a zombie apocalypses
where the sole survivor is taking care of his Zombified girlfriend and loves her so much that he...well it was an act of kindness that some may be disturbed by
But I believe it to be the extent of his love

He lets her Eat Him so she may live a while longer

Those Are some of the more disturbing one that come to mind
the real disturbing ones probably won't be written here
due to the brain blocking out the truly most disturbing memory's one has
