Hi guys,
I love the Detective Conan manga series.
Any recommendations for a similar detective series?
Oh and I love Hajime Kindaichi manga (http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=4105) as well, however, I can't find any complete english translation for it.
Any news on that?
Thanks

Don't know about the Hajime Kindaichi question. Well Death Note is the super-famous hit-or-miss one but....
Anyways I'd definitely say Nougami Neuro.

City Hunter 😀 😀
It's not really a detective manga, but I'm pretty sure, he does do some "detective" like work.

Himitsu - Uses the memories of the dead to solve cases.
Deka Wanko - The protagonist girl has an amazing sense of smell, and uses that to solve cases.
Kui Tan - Detective solves cases by eating the food at the crime scene.

So you're looking for mystery and crime solving manga?
Have you read Blood Alone by TAKANO Masayuki yet? It may be a bit more Slice of Life than usual but it has some very interesting cases about crimes involving the supernatural. It's one of my all-time favourites since I'm a sucker for Slice of Life and mystery stories.
The Bungaku-Shoujo series, starting with "Bungaku Shoujo" to Shi ni Tagari no Douke by NOMURA Mizuki/ KOUSAKA Rito, focuses on mystery cases on a larger scale (one case per book). Intriguing but pretty dreary, you have been warned.
These aside KAMINAGA Manabu also writes good mystery stories. Currently, I'm reading Conductor and plan to continue with his Shinrei Tantei Yakumo series. They're a mix of horror, mystery and detective stories.
And last but not least, there's this webcomic called Two Keys by Nuu aka Pilot-S or Chloe Chan. The story revolves around a detective duo, a former Private-Eye and a young police officer who investigates a series of events that dig up his partner's mysterious past. The atmosphere is very peculiar as it is intended to recreate the impression of a film noir. Shumie aka Aliena Shoemaker used to co-write the comic before but apparently, she's gone now, so don't worry if you find any outdated information on this work.

To be savoured:
- Blood Alone by TAKANO Masayuki
- Otoyomegatari by MORI Kaoru
- Gangsta. by Kohske
- Seishun Kouryakuhon by AKIZUKI Sorata
