RSS (Rich Site Summary; originally RDF Site Summary; often called Really Simple Syndication) uses a family of standard web feed formats2
to publish frequently updated information: blog entries, news headlines, audio, video. An RSS document (called "feed", "web feed",3
or "channel") includes full or summarized text, and metadata, like publishing date and author's name.
You pop RSS feeds into a reader like Feedly and you collect sources from all over the internet to aggregate your own news feed without having to check them all separately. It's very old-school but very useful. I'm currently trying to figure out how to feed new releases from certain scanlation groups into Discord, but to no avail.
I also need to filter in only BL/GL genres.
