Naver has launched its english comic portal~ Please note that it's only available for mobile devices:

I guess we can say that all the webtoons available there are now licensed, right?

The main (non-mobile? immobile?) site is up at: http://comic.naver.com/en/index.html
It's interesting that, here on MU, LINE Webtoon's releases appear as scanlator releases. I think it's great to see publishers working with the fan-base, not to mention it's smart of them.
A few points, using the "shounen" manhwa Denma as an example:
- Should LINE Webtoon also affect the Licensed (in English) field and be listed under English Publisher?
- I've seen many Description sections on this site (mostly for webtoons) that include a direct link to the starting page of the original work in the original language. Denma's Description section now has the links Original webtoon / English Version by Naver. Does this mean that we could or that we should add the same sort of links to, for example, the Seven Seas page for the printed version of Young Miss Holmes in that manga's Description section?
Some advice for Naver/LINE Webtoon:
- You should update your Scanlator Group Info page with your Facebook and Twitter information, plus, if you use it (which would be surprising), your IRC.
- Make sure your user info at the top of your Facebook and Twitter pages have a link to your main English scanlation page, so that people won't have to work hard to find your main site.
- You should find quality checkers who are very familiar with English-language culture online and offline, general as well as fandom-specific. A native-level quality check would have saved you from having Denma, right near the beginning of chapter one, introducing himself in his former form as, "Dyke the Bloodless Envoy," which lends itself to jokes so rude that I can't even begin to post them.
I don't normally keep up with forums, so if I posted this in the wrong place, sorry about that! Thanks for all your hard work, everyone!
BTW, The Korea Economic Daily has an article from April about Naver's English site from a business point of view: Naver to Set up “Line Webtoon” Brand.

I'm not sure if you could say it's licenced ..... But I know one group got asked to stop translating.
Read a post from the company saying they are dropping all Naver stuff. 😢
( I'd have to wait a LONG time for Kubera to get to V.2 ch.97 with it only being released once a week, only 4 ch. out right now, and having to go through all 100 ch. of V.1 )
I've checked out Kubera on the site ..... The translations don't flow as well .... sigh Here's to hoping the translation quality picks up.
Which for an official English translation I would think they would do a great job translating ...
Or maybe I'm expecting too much .... Or maybe the other comics are done better ....
EDIT- FML I'll have to wait about 4 years (3.7 to be exact )for the official translations to catch up to where the company left off. I think I might want to learn Korean instead ....
Yes yes, I know I make longwinded comments, but that's just me >.<
I should proof read my comments more, but I won't...
So keep in mind I'm filled with typos

Actually http://www.webtoons.com is the only official Naver english site. There is no official PC site yet though you can open the link on PC as well. The website you mentioned was of the trial website Naver ran few months ago 😀
Line Webtoon has been added as a group here by fans rather than by their staff. They did promoted themselves here though.
Naver gave DMCA notice to Easy Going Scans and they said they would be officially translating their series.

At first I was happy I could read their stuff legally but I'm afraid its a bit too little too late if they want to release once a week with sub-par English translations. =_=

to sum up how i feel:
upon reading annoucement:
"yay they noticed their international fans! Releases in other languages! We can read it legally! support the creators! woohoo!"
few weeks later:
"noooo Naver why translations look like they're been put through Google? nooo why are all the good scanlators dropping it? nooo Batoto has removed all Naver titles! OTL"

The Line Webtoon site is garbage.
This is a dark turn of events for webtoon scanlations.
