well, since im quite bored, and this was niggling at me i decided to ask for all those, like me, who dont really keep in check (or know how) to figure out all the manga considered as "mainstream"

so basically in this thread im looking for all manga that is/was considered "mainstream" and how you can tell/know they are.
like Naruto, One Piece etc.

on a personal note, im more interested in shounen battle manga with a weak-to-strong protaganist so if you could tell the main points for genre/categories alongside them that would be great thanks

i considered stuff mainstream if they have high rating or lots of raters. im pretty sure high rating is mainstream here since this is using Bayesian average. having anime is also considered mainstream. hmm i dont know whether you want us to list all mainstream manga since that will take a while, so im passing to the nest question with some mainstream shounen.

The Breaker - about a boy who found a good sensei in martial art, and get strong and stuff. wimpy kid, nice supporting characters
Kekkaishi - a boy in a family of kekkaishi, who is guardian of an interesting place. very great development.
Mahou Sensei Negima! - an ecchi manga about a 10 year old boy with a harem of 15 year old girls. loads of magical battles, but read only if you like girls panties.

this site doesn't really show if something is mainstream, because you only get activity/rating and a high activity on a certain manga page does not always stand for high viewer base.

ratings, as said above are an option but again do not guarantee high viewership.

apart from that the easiest solution is picking some random aggregator site without morals i.e. they just upload anything without permission such as manga ~fox, ~here, ~reader and who knows what else and sort by views (or most popular ones, there should exist such a search option on any page).
Batoto will not work, because some things are filtered.
