Tired of cliches. dead
I have 4 different sorts of "unique" I'm looking for.

1. Chubby male lead.
This sounds weird, but I've been influenced by the manga Mori No Takuma-san. The male lead is so sweet and extremely cute. Chubby female leads is already a used character trait, btw, so I wanna see some genderbend.

2. English female lead.
The romantic interest is a white girl. Perhaps she transfers to Japan for something, moves, or whatever. The only thing I've seen of this is Irina from Assassination Classroom, but the romance is veeeery subtle.

3. A female lead that has morals.
The most overplayed thing in the world of manga is a weak, fragile female lead who falls in love with a dirtbag beast. I want the female to have morals, preferably stronger then the male, and know how to wipe her own ass. I don't want her changing into being weaker at the end, either. The cliche is that they're always submissive, and can't say no.
Someone like Hori from Horimiya or maybe even a delinquent role could do, like OresamaTeacher.

4. And there's a romance manga I'm looking for.
I read a manga (I think shoujo) where there's soccer involved, the male lead is extremely adorable and girly yet good at sports. This female lead at first believes that he's gay, and likes this delinquent dude he's been visiting, only to be entirely wrong and find out he actually likes her. If you know the name, do tell please laugh

It would be nice if anyone has recommendations on timid, submissive, or girly blushy guys ? Such as Otomen or Bocchan to Micchan, preferably a few years younger? Thanks x smile wink grin

2. Home is one, but I think you'll probably find more luck with shounen fantasy romance genre, like Dance in The Vampire Bund, Shingetsutan Tsukihime etc.

3. There are quite plenty, actually, since it's a pretty well-received trope: Takane to Hana, Seishun Away, The Sensual M, Sarashi Asobi, Tokyo Crazy Paradise, etc.

4. Sounds like Pump Up!
