As a child he didn’t read Weekly Shounen Jump at its peak, when Dragon Ball and Slam Dunk were serializing.
He read Grappler Baki & Urayasu Tekkin Kazoku on Weekly Shounen Champion that his father bought. He also read Claymore, Jiyuujin Hero and Dragon Drive on Monthly Shounen Jump, and that was also the reason he submitted his work to Jump Square.
He graduated from Tohoku University of Art and Design, Department of Fine Arts, Western Painting Course.
He first posted his work on web manga posting site Neetsha, which ISHIDA Sui also once posted his work.
He likes to draw fanart of Abara by Nihei Tsutomu.
Mugen no Juunin, Kiichi!! & The World Is Mine are some of his favorites. He also like to watch Crayon Shin-chan, Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu, Ojarumaru, Nichijou, Kamichu!, Ghibli, Disney and Pixar.
Received Jump SQ Crown’s Newcomer Manga Award Honorable Mention from examiner KONOMI Takeshi for Koi wa Moumoku in November 2013.
Among his assistants during Fire Punch there were KAKU Yuuji, ENDO Tatsuya, TATSU Yukinobu and TOODA Oto.
