In a few days is the infamous April Fools' Day (April 1st). At MU, we [color=red]WILL NOT[/color] tolerate any fake/joke releases being reported/announced to us (on any day, not just April Fools). If we, by accident, allow a fake release to get through, please report the mistake to us (either via a [sitelink=submit.html?act=add_change]Change Request[/sitelink] form, through the forum, post a comment in this news post, send me a private message, or you can email me at lambchopsil[at]mangaupdates[dot]com if you are not a registered member here).
As you have been warned against doing it, if we discover a person still attempting to post a joke release here, that person will be dealt with. Severe action will be taken upon that scanlation group.

Dragon, again!
It's the Lunar New Year, so why not do a poll related to that? We did this poll 11 years ago, and we had more dragons than any other animal. In case you don't know, your Eastern zodiac (of which the most well known is the Chinese one, but most other Eastern countries have a variation of it) is determined by your birthdate. Do any of you millionaires want to donate to MangaUpdates?
We have decided to remove all releases for the group Aloalivn.
Previously, we were already rejecting their "releases" that were ripped from officially published app translations and those that were actually known to be done from other scanlation groups. More evidence has surfaced that most of their other releases actually use translations stolen from Youtube videos. Rather than try and figure out whether each chapter or series is a legit release, we are going to have a blanket rejection of listing anything claiming to be done by Aloalivn.
I would also like to take this time to remind all our users that we do not permit the listing of releases ripped from officially licensed sources (regardless of whether that license has expired or not). And we only allow the listing of English scanlations.
