Look, Ichikawa Kei automatically gets a point boost. The art is A+++. This story is a bit plain. I feel like the characters were a bit hard to pin down. Even with such a standard plot, I would have been much more invested if the characters felt just a bit more unique. But compared to manga made by someone who is NOT Ichikawa Kei?? It's just on a higher level of quality.

It’s a whole volume but not much gets accomplished. It’s cute, though, and the writing is sane which is great.
This manga was really real. I could see each of the characters as three dimensional people with three dimensional personalities. Each character had their own logic that clashed with each other causing this manga to be somewhat akin to real life relationships in my opinion.
Otherwise, the plot was probably a 4 and the art was a standard 8.

It's all about one certain love relationship. I wonder why I wasn't bored at all. Well... that's probably the magic of love, heh.
Now, seriously, in the beginning it seems to be a silly comedy, a bit cliche, although with an interesting, expressive artwork but under that soft cover lays something heavier and that is a troublesome gay relationship. There's not much action on the surface but in their minds there's a lot going on, I mean all the questions, hesitation, the thing about being abnormal, suffering, running away and going in circles... kind of psychological stuff served with an excellent sense of humour. There's not much about the background of the main characters and not many supporting characters but this time it doesn't bother me at all. Oh btw - no sex inside.

Although there's nothing extravagant or truly exciting about the plot here, the story still feels considerably precious with all the relationships and human interaction between people and people that could actually happen anywhere, though to different executions perhaps. It may not be my favourite work from the author, but the manga truly reflects all of her essence and I could appreciate it for that. She had certainly established a style for herself now.
