Ahh love this so much. I would reread it a hundred times and still wont get tired of it. An absolute 10/10 manhwa.

Heesu and Seungwon were so cute together. I liked how they were constantly so tender and loving toward each other. I'm also glad Seungwon was there to cherish Heesu, after his childhood one side crush. A relationship where Heesu was used to be the one pursuing, caring and listening. And for the first time someone was taking care of him and listening to him. I'm just glad he moved on and found someone as warm and caring as him to reciprocate his feelings.

The pace was perfect though it sometimes felt like important scenes were skipped. Characters felt frustrating sometimes but that's what made them relatable. Definitely not too much drama or pointless romanticizing.

The second season was a bit directionless. We had the first couple and were introduced to another couple in a nice way and that would have been another fun trip. It ended up as multiple ideas to be delved deeper into all pushed into one season, which is why it felt empty and lacking in the end. I would have loved to see more about the second couple. Their development just came out of nowhere for me.

actually Im thinking on reading it for the 4th time. I don't like rereading bc I know what's gonna happen, but I can't help it when it comes to this wholesome story, I absolutely adore stories with healthy relationships, they're so cute and not perfect of course, I love how it's not just a love story but a whole story about growth and life in general. they're truly couple goals, like I want what they have, I wish I can express myself better but I just Love Them So Much words can't say it enough

This is an awesome read, I definitely recommend this.

And I just wanted to clarify that the ending was originally kind of ambiguous but hopeful for the side couple, but the cliff hanger was resolved with an extra, so don't let this stop you from giving this sweet little manhwa a try.

Cliffhanger end

A cute, light-hearted, and utterly sweet manhwa. Heesu in Class 2 makes you fall in love with the main characters and side characters alike. There is no over the top drama, overused clichés, nor lengthy misunderstandings. Watching Heesu's growth from an extra in someone else's story to the main character of his own is a thoroughly enjoyable and unforgettable experience. Reaching the ending feels like a knife to the gut—it feels like watching your children grow up. I'll miss them dearly, but the journey was amazing from start to end.

Heesu in Class 2 will make you smile so much that your cheeks will hurt. I'm not kidding. You'll see the development of a healthy and youthful romance with great friends and family entangled along the way.

Seriously, if you like slow realistic romance, read this. It's far from finished, but so far it's pretty cute and fluffy, and the MC isn't instantly in love with the guy (as he is in love with his childhood friend), but their relationship is slowly developing with the help of their friends.
It feels real. The straight childhood friend isn't magically in love with the MC, but he knows about his feelings and wants him to be happy. The MC doesn't have a problem accepting his sexuality per se, but is conscious about it and knows it's not the 'usual'. The guy who likes the MC has two mothers and the way the author depicted them feels genuine.
The art is somewhat unusual, but once I got used to it I began to find it really cute.
All in all, this will be a long manhwa, but it's worth reading if you want a fluffy and light yet realistic BL.
