It's very dramatic

I watched the anime serval times because I found it extremely funny. I went to the manga hoping for more content. It's a pretty ok story but a lot of issues could be solved with proper communication. There's always one issue after another and Momo can't catch a break.

PS. It not worth going to Peach girl Next it's just more unneeded drama just because and has a similar ending to the original and gives the original a bad reputation. So if you don't want to risk having peach girl ruined for you just stick to the original instead.

Story got dragged far too long

It was rather annoying how the girl is wishy washy. She couldn't make up her mind for both the guys that it became hard for me to finish it. Maybe it would've been a great series if the author was able to just make the story flow and not repeatedly using the same scenarios over and over again. Overall, I'm still glad who she ended up with.

Good manga but

I loved this manga when I first read it published in Vietnam with lots of things cut and/or changed and it discontinued at some point. Found it and read it to the (near) end in a day. Omg it’s still pleasing and I love the arts but well, guess the girl sways way too much. And too many incidents (hospitalization, network failures) that are right at the important moments so... well I still love the art and the plot in general though 🙂 who knows that may be how life is...

I seen the anime before the manga and even with all the drama I love this series as an adult. Yes there’s is a lot more drama then your typical high school. Yes there is a lot of things that’s makes you wonder if that was the right choice, art style is beautiful and the characters can be annoying but where they drama in all of it if thee weren’t.

Thinking "yeah, I liked the anime" I gave the manga a go and they were pretty much the same. However, not having watched the anime in years I started new with the story and it wasn't as good as I remember. Momo seemed too easily swayed and annoying. Sae is the type of cunning deceitful character that you want to lose her change is interesting to see. Toji is an upsetting idiot. Kairi/Kiley was the most standable character in the series he had a pretty good head on his shoulders. I get that they are only teens not yet adults and will make questionable decisions but I've seen others do better irl. If you like a shoujo school life setting with drama galore then this may be the series for you.

. Love watching the anime and Loathing in the manga. Yes there are some issues in the manga and a lot of dramatic scenes that happened in the show but I think in all it's still wonderful series.

It started out good. I liked the bully plot. The end I fealt dragged on and was starting to go all over the place.. Started out with friendly competition over a guy ended up the enemy was annoying the whole time.. And the guy was stupid for always falling for her crap. The extras were alright. Rather see a story over them to be honest.

Enough said.

Ok well not really. Kiley was super adorable and unique. Even upon a re-read, Kiley still holds up his one-of-a-kind quirk. In Change of Hearts, the focus on his Past love gave a different atmosphere to his character but he's still awesome anyway.

Considering that this manga was written in 1997, it's probably one of the first shoujo that features a non-typical male lead like Kiley and has the main girl to end up with the second guy she dates.

hated the kind of drama and repetitiveness. In short the storyline sucked. In a whole it looks like a copy cat version of parfait tic but with some evil woman drama and poor characterization.

Worth the read

I'll admit the first arc was tiring to read because of everyone doubting each other, due to Sae's neverending schemes. But the second arc blew my mind. It was drama from start to finish, and I mean major emotional DRAMA, so you better be prepared to have your brain rocked back and forth.

A lot of people are saying that it's cliche, irritating, even labeling Momo as a slut. I rated this a 5 when I first started reading this, but now I give it a 9. Why? It's a good story, it's realistic in its way. Relationships are complicated, life is complicated, and sometimes you can't see through yourself no matter how hard to you try. But you learn from your mistakes and only become stronger than you were before. A lot of the execution was flawed and had me smh too many times to count, but I think it came together well in the end. The characters are amazing, they really are. Everyone is solid, and I genuinely cared for the main leads. Momo is one of my favorite Shojo heroines to date, and although she has trouble making up her mind, she's strong. She's not perfect, but she's as gutsy as Makino from Hana Yori Dango. Momo had good reason for her doubts because both guys in her life are great. Because of all the previous drama it was even difficult for me to choose which guy I liked more. Toji or Kiley? Kiley or Toji? The ending caught me off guard because it wasn't what I predicted, but it left me satisfied.
My only peeve about this is that Momo seemed unrealistically lucky, always having one guy or the other by her side right when things go bad for her or when she'd had a riff with either one of the dudes. If only real life were like this for us girls... but then again, it's a manga!

PS: They seriously need to get cell phones that WORK. I can't imagine the number of times everything could have gone well if only their damn cells weren't constantly out of battery or service. -_-; seemed like lazy writing sometimes.
