Really funny details, but dragging and cliche plots
by jackalan

This comic is by no mean detailed. It only have some detailed funny parts that can also be thoughtful. (I.e. parents comparing their children, or reminding oneself to stay collected around people who are out-of-this-world in terms of appearances, intellect, wealth, position, etc.) That's the only enjoyable, at the same time tolerable, part of this.

The female lead Dan-I at first I thought was pretty cool. She doesn't let all those pretty people get into her head. But further down the way, it gets really cliche and annoying:

1. She is constantly in denial of her flimsy existence in this Inso world. She is afraid she might disappear one day and no one will remember her (her harem of her best friend and the Four Heavenly King - lol, now writing about this, I just realized how similar they are to F4 in part that 2/4 guys liked her, not in the pushy kind of way like Tsuruga, but with consideration but one is similar to Rui, the other being a little bit bragging like Tsuruga. Just my thoughts).

2. She is also in denial that she is just a side character whom receiving the affections of the potential male leads are out of line. (2/4 guys already expressed their liking towards her, but she constantly denies such aka the friend-zone is strong with this one.)

3. Yet, ridiculously she makes assumptions about another guy/blonde guy out of the circle being too good looking and assumed he is a "she-in-disguise" and brushes off all of his actions and her actions with one another as innocent friends with little regards to how her harem feel and behave (hostile towards that guy).

4. Feels like everything in her harem people's lives revolve around her, thinking of her, wanting to be and being with her, guarding her off from the blonde guy because they all decide they don't like him or her being around him. Obsessive and controlling much?

Some of these points are addressed but very flimsily. And the plot drags on.

I still follow this series out for good laughs. At the same time, female-oriented, romance-focused comics should really go out of the way to offer better, intelligent, and comprehensive works. This and many other popular isekais/reincarnations/transportations/similar genres, including the ones with really smart female leads who are out to take control of their lives, will just gradually be a chore, often time cringy (because they might be too overpowered), losing their shine/becoming dull, consumer/sale-driven things that are just okay or mediocre.

Sure, laughs are important, wanting a carefree form of entertainment is important. But it can be something more, much more.

Just my opinions.

Edit: Why must every problems in Dan-I's life revolves around her harem or her being the centre of attention? Can't she just live it? If she is so insecure, in real life, I don't know who'd continue putting up or trying when the cons outweigh the pros - maybe S&M? Why can't they just go on their lives and do things the ways they want without a care for most others - if they are brave enough, and from the looks of it most of them are thriving without giving a care about their surroundings or mobs? The more I think about it, the more I see problems in their friendships and their very inward self-consciousness. And I usually don't see it too much with people who assume and keep things to themselves. Communicate. Clarify. Try to see.

And can't this be a friendship-focused comic? So much wasted potentials. Go liking some other people outside of your circle. Stop being so dang closed-off/exclusive. It's depressing.

Good at first

I liked it at first but then the story just drags with the same cycle of boy likes Dan-I and tries to get her attention but Dan-I is afraid to get close and ignores signals, rinse and repeat. Like we get it, Dan-I is in emotional turmoil because she can disappear at any moment and also does not believe that any of the male leads could like her. If you're going to bring it up every story arc then at least reveal more plot-related info like how she got transported in the first place. I also wish we knew why everyone was obsessed with her too, I don't feel like she brings much to the table in their friend group. I was really hoping that this series would be more about the perspective of what it's like to be a side character, but it's really just any other female isekai reverse harem, where all these men are in love with a bland female lead.

Wholesome

This is an odd manga since the story is not reaaally clear as to where it's going to. It has a lot of clichés and the characters are not always very multi-dimensional. The art is not special BUT it really grows on you and.. for some reason I find this webcomic simply very addicting, the romance between the main characters (no spoilers) is really quite something. It's nice to have a webcomic not simply be another isekai or villainess story.

Overall I recommend to give it a chance and you might find it way better than you'd expect.

Starts out weird and confusing, but bear with it! Everything gets better

So I didn't really like the series at first because there were a bunch of back-and-forth time skips/flash backs. Luckily, that volatile style of storytelling stopped around chapter 15. The story feels a lot more coherent and interesting after that. I love the fact that this series focuses on friendship between everyone, although I wish the characters got more equally distributed screen time.

Art: 9/10 -- Very colorful, concise, pretty
Plot: 8/10 -- There are unexpected twists that keep readers on their toes. Premise is also a fresh take on isekai.
Writing: 5/10 -- Story is kind of all over the place at first, and the dialogue could use more work.

Overall, I recommend this to all fans of isekai! It's fresh, funny, and cute -- don't let the initial confusion stop you.

at the beginning it was like many Isekai story but with the MC being MC and no someone else, just in Novel-ish world. But then we get to see the Heavy Moment that Shows how AMAZING the Friendship she has with Everyone. Everyone is Observant with her Personality... and when some things revealed, All MC's friends is Scared for her!!! Scared for the Situations and all...
They's Protective and Somewhat Possessive. But All Characters is So Enjoyble and Lovable!!!
The Story getting Deeper... it was just Really Really Good so far, Okay!
It was Totally Different from Any Isekai story i have ever read... and I LOVE IT!!!

The humor is great and the webtoon actually brings up the anxiety of being in a world not your own (without having died first).

I've been going on an isekai binge lately, but this is different and better thought out than any of the other isekais that I've read lately. The first few chapters are a bit choppy, but it becomes much better and you begin to understand and empathize with the main character.

Surprisingly Intriguing

I initially had low expectations, as I do for any "my-life-turned-novel/isekai" overdone story. However, the more I read, the more I grew to like the characters and their wacky dynamic. It's not only funny and hard to predict, but also strangely endearing. I even ended up crying for the main character a few times when she felt completely alienated and alone. I also like that there are some mystery elements, and the transmigration part isn't a given fixture of reality, but a source of conflict. The art is good and overall there is something sweet and captivating about the series to me!

The only con is that it can be repetitive and the main character a little annoying. She is often dense and refers to her friends as "main characters" as if they are just players on a stage separate from her, despite having a real connection with them. They are constantly proving her wrong by showing that she means something to them regardless of what's "real", yet she seems to either forget all of it chapters later, or avoid that truth. If she showed more character progression, I'd hands down recommend it.

Slow pace, weird sense of humor (hit and miss for me), not particularly interesting characters, there is hardly someone original, except the MC all are just the definition of a stereotype and it's of course done on purpose since they are in a novel, MC is the only deviation but she's not particularly interesting or well developed or defined. Also, this same thing has been done several times already with the exact same setting so the MC is not original either, so story-wise it's not particularly good either and the storytelling is kinda annoying with all the jumps in the timeline... and to be honest not much happens, I'm stopping at ch20 'cause I got bored, might continue later.
My recommendation would be to read "Not so miss side-kick" instead, which is much better pretty much in every aspect and has a very interesting plot in the brewing.

With only 17 chapters translated + a 3 year time skip it’s kind of hard to tell what happened. But I like it so far!
