This has to be one of my favorite isekai series ever. I love how complex the characters are; none of them can really be deemed as completely good or evil. They all have selfish desires that would lead to them having to make sacrifices. Everything they do and every decision they make are well-explained so you simply can't help, but sympathize with them. Every time you begin to hate someone, the author would hit you with a backstory that pulls at your goddamn heartstrings. Honestly, I've never wanted so many characters to be happy and have their own happy ending this bad before.

Not to mention, the romance is simply amazing. There are multiple different relationships within the series, but I was just as invested in the others' relationships as much as I was in the ML and FL's.

Legit though, it's so beautifully written! You know it's good when you are left in awe at the end.

I like how the heroine is very open to communication. So far I like the FL and the ML is so gorgeous. The art is beautiful!

new age of oel's?

edit: I read some more chapters and decided to drop this series.... fl is extremely stupid, ready to forgo peoples lives for the sake of love.... ofc everything will turn out fine at the end bc it's a comic but it's just extremely dumb and as to her and the other characters behaviors and plot points in the story theres almost no rationale/buildup/reasoning or not enough that the audience could understand/relate to why they did so. The art is nice, but im getting stressed bc of the absurd progression of the plot and the romance lmao

thought this was a manhwa bc the format/artstyle and it was published by lezhin but apparently it was originally published in English! I would have known it was an oel if it had been published by naverwebtoons bc they've been releasing alot of english webtoons for a few years now & I think this series along with others by english speaking authors with korean webtoon artstyles/formats are hinting at a new era of oel's!!! wish this site were more inclusive tho bc other oel series are rarely allowed to be posted..
anyw the story is interesting but the pacing is a bit wonky and fast and the characters fall flat, but among oel's it's pretty good. I found the romance really rushed and illogical but cookie cutter cliches are still fun to read

Amazing art

Webtoon these days...the artwork is phenomenal! The story itself is still slowly gearing up, but the build up of the story isn't too bad! It has a solid story going for it. I really recommend it.

Edit - you need to power through! The art itself is beautiful, but the story does get more interesting and griping where you'll need to hold your breath (I'm past chapter 40, which is pretty much the big finale). Lots of twists and turns.

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
what annoyed me the most was during the backstory of Jin and the members of the Blue Dawn (chp 43), he said "would you forgive a man who killed all of your friends"....first of all, no one ever cared about her in her village. They ridiculed her and bullied her. Jin basically guilt tripped the real Solhwa and manipulated her love for him so that she would sacrifice herself for the Azure Nation. If he ever truly loved her, they would've found a different way. He's despicable and weak. Jin basically had a massive boy crush on the Blue Dawn leader, Xya and looked up to him and was going to do everything in his power to carry out his will "give your life to the azure nation". However, Jin was probably also led astray when he was at his weakest (after everyone died, and it felt like all hope was lost), the evil manipulating granny shaman Koh bended words to make Jin carry out these wrong doings. I guess he was a victim too, in the end, because Xya's death was FAKE.

Edit 2 - I'm glad it ended where it did (mid 50s). So many of the webtoons these days drag on till 100+. They should really know when to stop so that it doesn't ruin the overall experience. I'm looking forward to Cibeles' next work!
