Not bad, but a bit illogical

I like the ideas, and the art is nice.

A few plot twists, some interesting, some that you understand way before they happens.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Having the sister of the fiance being the real villain was quite nice.

I am currently at chap 35, and a few things are illogical or "because plot reasons", and it's disappointing since it breaks the FL's character.
I have a small list :
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
- She is smart and intelligent, except when it's about the identity of the ML, about that, she can't even do 1+1.
- Her maids tell her that it's the fiance's sister that is behind everything (letters, gifts, etc.), and she is completely surprised a few chapters later when she heards about it again.
- The time turner. OMG, it's so infuriating !
She understands that it makes her sleeps a lot -> proceed to use it every day and doesn't care about her image. Well the author stopped caring about that too at that point, so it can be glossed over, ok.
But ! "Oh, I shouldn't rely on it too much, only when really needed" and "I shouldn't use it too much since it causes me to grow too quickly" are completely ignored in the same chapter.

My no. 1 best Villainess Manhwa

I forgot if I read this back in 2019 when it was first released on kakao and was scanlated by a group but ever since that time, I had been eagerly waiting for every chapter and is fully supporting the english release from day1. This series is my comfort series that I can read again and again even if it's still ongoing.
I tried to read the novel but stopped at where the current arc is by now
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
When Mielle pushed her own father and blames Aria
since I felt like it's more thrilling to see it than imagining it. Ant Studio being the ones behind the artwork is an absolute gold mine. They really put so much in this and I adore the style they kept in.

This is definitely a recommended series to read and even binge read into. It's probably what set the tone for a really good Villainess protagonist (maybe idk I'm just biased on this pls don't hurt me 😂) I'll forever reread this every after a few months.

After reading a whole lot of ''reset'' manga/manwha and another whole lot of ''villainess'' stuff, this is one of my favorites since our girrl ARIA stays a villain (sort of) and doesnt have a sudden change of heart (so far atleast). SO what happend with the scans? was it dropped?
As a side note, i totally recommend this even to those who are not into this genre.

Actually I've read the novel until the end, but I'll always wait for the manhwa to finish because the art spoils my eyes.

Great characters, great villainess

MC returns to the past for REVENGE on her family. The story atm is executed properly and many characters are likeable (and hate). The MC is feels just like a normal person who is standing up for herself and you makes you route for her and destroy her enemies slowly as a villainess (though not evil).

Also the art is VERY beautiful

This is one of those I kept putting off reading only to wish I had read it sooner. My biggest grip with this story was the FL's self worth was heavily reliant on the fact that she knew the the future (as is the biggest issue with most stories like this), that issue was actually addressed in later chapters.

Both the FL and ML get some character growth and their interactions with one another are a treat to read. I can believe they actually fell in love with each other and not just each others looks. I also appreciate the FL's mother, she doesn't really say much, but she is a nice depiction of someone standing strong and biting the bullet for the greater good of her daughter.

A+ character development but too overpowered to maintain suspense.

It was very enjoyable to watch Aria grow as a person and this is very much a rags to riches type of story for an unconventional protagonist. I am not a huge fan of the ML, he is serviceable but just a little too bland and predictable to really hold his own to such an assertive female lead.

There comes a point in the story at which Aria has so much influence, money and Simps that it kills of the suspense. It's not that she didn't deserve these things it just removed a huge part of what made the story work since Aria is by no means an Underdog anymore. Still remains enjoyable to read.

Art is great.

My thoughts are similar to what the other commenters are saying. It's a tale that's been recycled many, many times, but there's an interesting twist to it. You generally know what's going to happen (turning back time to change the outcome, etc), but her actual moves are very calculated and sometimes unexpected? I like the fantasy aspect to it too. The artwork is beautiful; the artist has definitely improved over the years.

TBH, the gets even better when the crown prince reveals himself to her (ch. 49ish), and I'm excited to see how this all plays out.

A nice change of trope

Honestly, in most stories the reincarnated villainess becomes a saint by either: a) Being bad at being a villainess and being involuntarily good - or - b) Deciding to redeem herself. As much as those stories can be great, it became repetitive when you read many of those pieces.

Thankfully, this story is not about that. This is indeed a story of someone with (end of ch1 spoiler)
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
a cruel sister who will try to kill her and her mother, forcing her to one-up the sister in manipulation and tactics.

As for what smallspark pointed out about Mielle,
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
that's actually intentional, since she's not the one planning the cruel actions, but rather Oscar's older sister. Which was a fairly decent twist, though it's still a bit blurry how it will be carried out. However, some novel spoilers suggest that it will be a major point in Season 2.

As for some minor down points in this: sometimes the protagonist's personality shows a bit inconsistent, imo; some of the development between characters is dropped at some point and then when it appears again, it has became a different dynamic (mainly between Aria and her first maid) which felt like a gap for me; some of the background conflicts are left hidden or completely background until they become relevant, which not only can feel sudden to the reader, but also felt to me as if I had missed a chapter or something. I think the biggest example of that last point is
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
when the conflict between the Crown Prince and the Aristocratic Faction becomes relevant for plot's sake, very suddenly.
