Mokhwa fell in love with a prince, Gajun Lee, at the tender age of fifteen and together they ascended to the throne.
However, what she did not know then was that her husband had deliberately trapped her in a web of lies from the moment they met in order to attain the power he craved so deeply.
Marriage soon enlightens her to this truth, but she is unable to avoid him eventually leading her to her death.
As the darkness begins to consume her, she promises herself that in her next life she will seek revenge and protect those she loves.
When she opens her eyes again, she discovers she has returned to her 15-year-old self!
As the future begins to unfold in similar patterns and she finds herself caught between Gajun and his older brother, the sweet Jejun, she becomes even more determined to change her fate and make those who wronged her pay.

Oh, were you here for a grand revenge story wherein the powerful female lead uses her knowledge of the future she returned from to exact revenge on those who abused and killed her? Well you better buckle up, because... literally none of that happens.
The FL is the least proactive main character of basically any story I've ever read, and for over half the story (where I dropped it) she simply sits around doing nothing while her prior abuser makes move after move, gaining ground and power and hurting those around her (and even hurting her directly at some points). The author tries to write this as her waiting for the perfect moment, but all it does is make her come across as totally incompetent, stupid (since she has returned from the fricking future), or at the very least totally uncaring that the people she is supposed to care about are being harmed due to her inaction.
Do yourself a huge favor and just skip this or stop reading it if you've already started. You will save yourself a ton of frustration and wasted time by just reading basically any other revenge story, even the worst of which are still better than this.
It started out great, art was great, there was much potential with the mc’s backstory. However, as the story progressed all I saw was the mc doing nothing and just waiting around watching as the targets of her revenge ran wild 😭. She hasn't once taken the initiative to damage her ex. The most she did was give him tea he was slightly allergic to 💀 (he would get rashes at most)
What made me drop it in the end is the stupidity of the ML and his mother (the empress). They walk right into obvious traps set for them 😭💔 It made their characters seem dull and incredibly flat, because how would a promising prince and the empress of a nation be so clueless. They blindly trust the words of others and run wild 🪦 major disappointment
TLDR; if you're expecting well-developed, intelligent characters, or a craft and ambitious female mc, this is NOT a story that would interest you.
