w.w.wwaste of time! just my personal opinion, but this one was characterwise really poor. If you like reading about people who are selfabsorbed and treat others like trash. there you go.

There's a fine line between complex characters and unlikeable, indecisive a**holes, and this series crossed it for me. I don't care about the main couple's oh so complex and touching love story. I have more sympathy for Daisuke's wife, and the way those two are jerking her around, than the main characters, and that's a bad sign in any work of fiction.
The art is good and the story is technically well-crafted, which is why I resisted rating this at one, but in terms of personal enjoyment this was a total disappointment for me. If you dislike infidelity, polyamory and selfish characters, you might want to give this one a skip.

I love the main character. He has such a charm to him that i seriously don't care who the hell he ends up with. He's extremely likeable and owns the spotlight in this "Bun" trilogy.
The art is pretty, and the story is realistic/mature/dramatic. It has a very.. realistic theatrical vibe to it-- like as if i'm watching a drama or a movie.I hope the author will continue writing more bun stories This is highly recommended.

I started with the rules universe (MUST read) and now i'm hunting down all of Miyamoto sensei's work. And not/love exceeds my expectations. It's just so heartbreakingly beautiful. You're introduced to these complex characters and you're slowly drawn into their lives, their love(s) and their heartaches. And boy ... are there lots of those.
And unlike a lot of the yaoi out there - these heartaches are so plausible and realistic. There are moments that make your heart palpitate with warmth and then there are some which just make you want to crawl into a small corner and lament that true love just doesn't exist anymore!
You won't always get a happy ending with Miyamoto-Sensei's work but somehow by the end it still feels right. It leaves you a little bit broken but you'll still yearn for more. And well ... that's where the beauty lies.
100% recommended. And hunt down all the dj's associated with this series. In fact, do what i did and download everything there is and read it all in one go. I challenge you to read just one or two chapters and not want to know what happens in the end for Bun.

Very good story, but so sad. I really hope that by some miracle it isn't over. I'd be so sad if it were! The ending so far is a very, very sad one. Not what I could ever consider a happy ending. I currently hate Daisuke and hope that maybe the story isn't over so he can redeem himself to readers like me. *sigh* I tear up every time.

I just have this feeling of love and hate about her works, but still i loved Walker universe specially since Bun ended with Daisuke or the way i did want it to end.

Her stories are always painfully real but this one, with the 7 years gap between chap 1 and chap 2 is extremely moving and you yearn for more, you hope, you suffer, you smile... god you'll be drawn inside!

This is brilliant (although not the end of the story yet) it has alot of great yet sad moments to the story. when daisuke's ex high school gf comes back I was in floods of tears for Bun. I hope there is a sequal after Heat to see who he actually ends up with cause satoru seems like a replacement.
