WAS REALLY GREAT!!!! But chapter 5 killed the momentum!!! I can't believe the seme had sex with other girls just to satisfy his lust for Momo. Tho I can understand why Momo didn't get mad (he felt bad for the seme for holding back). Still, the seme was the one who wanted the relationship to go on despite Momo's illness. So it's basically the seme's selfishness and Momo doesn't really have to feel all guilty about it.
In volume 2, it broke my heart when Horyuu raped Shouin. Horyuu kinda looked like an ideal lover, and it made me realize that everyone would somehow betray you, no matter how kind they are. So vol2 kinda killed the momentum.
...this comment was made on March 29, 2017 and I rated it with 9. Now, I can't even finish readingthe first couple lmao dkskkskks opinions do change and preferences will be made XD

Another type of cheesy yaoi manga. Hmm. Honestly saying, it didn't excite me that much. The storyline seems long and draggy. I don't know how I should feel when I read this manga, but it's just...boring. Maybe the plotline is very normal and it's like you can anticipate what's gonna happen next. *sighs* at least volume 2 is a little bit better. I didn't get to read the oneshots since it's not included when I downloaded this..oh well. I'll probably read it next time or so.

I re read the main story and it doesn't have a lot of appeal and even have some incoherency when it comes to the personalities. The 2nd vol was better than the 1st to me but however Shouin's character seemed to have taken a different path at least at the wedding reception.... Well for that particular accident you could say that even Houryuu's personality went a bit off. It s still can be enjoyed but does not strike me as sensei best work.
However the oneshots felt much more cute and enjoyable to read and all of them. They undoubtedly add some valuable content. You could also say my personal enjoyment have little to do with the quality but even if not realistic as to the events some times they did not seem swallow unlike the main story at some point

Ugh, while it's all very sweet and dandy, I feel like I'm reading a shoujo manga. Too many "I love you" and 'I'll do anything for you" and 'I miss you" and "I can't live without you" not to mention the misunderstandings, and crying and sulking and just.... *shudder.* I can't believe I'm saying this but this manga is toooo gay for me. Even the chapter titles make me cringe: I mean, "Honey honey sugar?" wtf? These boys don't talk or behave like boys at all. In fact, I bet if you make Shouin into a female, edit the dialogues a little, you can pass this off as a shoujo manga without anyone being the wiser.
Though it started off really nice (I thought the secret confession thing was rather sweet), the plot staled quickly after the first chapter. Like with anything sweet, if you consume too much of it, it'll give you a stomach ache. By the time I got to "Honey Honey Sugar," I knew this wasn't my cup of tea.
So anyway, if weak, effeminate ukes are your thing, and reading lots of lovey-dovey dialogues is fun for you, then this will leave you very satisfied. Me... I'll pass.

It's the emotional journey that counts

The emotional journey is what counts in this two-volume set (referring to the English release). Normally, I like a healthy dose of smex in my mangas, but the story and feelings that develop throughout this one completely captivated me. It took me a couple reads to realise there's not all that much physical action in the series. The story and the beautiful art carried me away.

This is one of my all-time favorite series. Toko Kawaii creates a sweet and tender story of love between two people who aren't quite sure of themselves and so are having trouble accepting the wonderful relationship they have found with each other. Great art too. An all around excellent manga.

love it!

A very tender manga (despite the angst here & there which was done with the right balance). The emotions sucked me in & I felt for the characters alot. & of course Kawai sensei's art is always pretty!
