Another good and enjoyable read

I like the male lead even though his action made me furious sometimes.
And the biggest problem I have is the female lead. I don't like her.
Until now I really can't see any good reason for the male lead to love her. Love truly can make people blind.
Male Lead is not perfect but he is a chick magnet. He can get anyone he want but he stayed focus.
I would prefer
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
if he had end up with his crush or childhood friend

Both of those wonderful ladies deserved more than that female lead.
Nevertheless, it is a good and enjoyable read which made me a bit regret not reading it earlier.
I saw this manga update almost every single week when the series was running but didn't bother to pickup it up.. Even after the anime came up and flashed through my eyes also I didn't bother to look it up.
I only started to read it after finding more manga like Suzuka

Frustrating yet unforgettable

Though the character work in this manga is second to none, that doesn't mean you won't hate them or the decisions they make. It does feel like the author struggles for new plot devices at times, but the art and dialog are usually top notch.

You will care about these characters, whether you mean to or not. And as a result of that, you may find yourself frustrated at the decisions they make at times.

Sure, the drama can be a bit too much at times and certain pieces drag on top much... Some might argue that the best girl doesn't win. But this manga is about the journey.

If you take the time to read this, you will enjoy it. You will laugh. You will cry. You will remember.

The story sputters out a bit towards the end ( probably could have ended appropriately around chapter 200 ). The MC varies between weak, annoying, or downright infuriating at times. But he is not completely without merit as in so many other stories.

If you are older, you just might find that this story will remind you... Of the town where you lived

Unrealistic

I disagree to those who said this one has a realistic drama. I mean an average nice guy makes so many women fall in love because he is a nice guy?. I have a bad news for you nice guys. Real life doesn't work that way. If reality did work that way then no one would have been single. After all everyone can be a nice guy. Everyone in this manga acts in unbelievable way.

They fall in love so easily
They change feeling so easily, and
They forgive the other so easily.

It's more believable if the two main characters were hated till the end after the decisions they made.

Also, a girl wants to making love with a guy she loves while having a boyfriend that she also loves. And you say it's realistic?, reality of a scum people maybe.

This manga is a pure fantasy fan-service. It is just a compilation of drama (the compilation makes it unrealistic) created by throwing many girls to be falling in love with the main character (obviously to bring their own respective 'realistic" drama, but real people rarely do what the characters in this manga do when they face the given situation ) with so much unnecessary ecchi scene as spice.

Yes, it does sell.
But, realistic? No. If you don't believe me, try to be an average nice guy and see what reality gives you.

BASICALLY

BASICALLY if you like your typical trashy shounen romance then this is probably one of the better reads. If not then give this one a pass, but if so...

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
chapters 80-100 were god awful, do not take them seriously. I'm rereading it again and it's literally packed full of cringey crappy drama about characters that i literally did not care for, but hey you might feel differently so what do i know

Also if you've read seo kouji's other works then definitely give this a go. One of my favourites by far.

And for the people that have already finished it...

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
It was pretty obvious who Haruto was going to end up with. I don't understand what any of you guys were expecting when you've read up to ch130~ It was pretty obvious at that point that knim was not that kind of manga. Stay mad asuka f**s lol kek xd

Male lead is a whiny, little....

Some people say the characters are believable. How many high school boys would whine about having a pretty girl living and hanging out with them? I could not continue reading anymore because the male lead was whining and pouting most of the time.

The best manga I ever read in this genre

Here's a few words from someone who just binge-read this after binge-reading a few other titles in the genre.

The premise of the plot got my heart racing like a teenage girl, especially after the 23rd-24th chapter where things got a little bit more sweeter. Due to that, I had a very hard time reading it because I was honestly so frickin sad all the time. As multiple people have said already, vol15 is the pinnacle of the series, after that it just takes a strange turn-around and it's not so interesting anymore.

Anyways, I stuck with it and read it till the end. Can't say I was that satisfied with vol16-27, but I think I wouldn't be able to sleep for a few days if the mangaka decided to end things around vol15-16, due to how sad the whole thing is.

Anyways, I highly suggest the series. I just got into the genre recently by accident, and after reading Suzuka, Orange Marmalade, Good Ending, Ichigo100% (didn't really do it for me), along with some other titles where romance is just a subplot, I can honestly say that this is the best one so far.

It reminds me how I hate pure romance genre

What did I read?
...
Maybe it's just me but reading 3 volume is more than enough for me. The story are pretty much equal to those description above:

"...she is living in his home... make sure the girl he likes, doesn't get the wrong idea"

Well that sums up at least 3 volumes.
This series is so damn plain! This could make awful romance-comedy feels like a fun read. It was not funny, nor sad, nor shocking, nor inspiring, nor amusing, nothing; I seriously don't feel anything when reading this manga (except annoyed by those static development). Maybe some of you will suggest that "it's getting better in the latter chapters" etc, but heck I can't stand reading more than that.

Its good despite many complaints

This is good. At the very least you can let the number of chapters speak for itself. Not without its downsides of course, but I genuinely believe that it portrays character development and struggles in a more realistic manner. The series branches from High School all the way to the end of college, and towards the later half of the series it deals with what many people go through: "What do I want to do with my future?" and Relationship Struggles regarding lost friends / long distance relation. Yes the way the Kirishima goes through these problems can be a huge stretch, but I blame that to its publication.

The romance is a bit on the rage side and the amount of characters introduced with little significance can be annoying as well. As a slice of life, I think its quite amazing.

Truly awful

A genuine waste of time. A mess of misunderstandings, dragged out plot, bad characters making bad decisions, and enough unnecessary drama to shame shoujo mangas. Kouji Seo's mangas are usually terrible but this is the lowest he has gone.

Underrated!
by Silvergoku

Rating: 10.0  / 10.0
I will keep this simple, its a romance manga of a guy who is in love, lives far from his girlfriend and she suddenly stops talking to him, not responding to his messages. He decides to travels to Tokyo where she is only to find out she is dating someone else. I will tell you that her new relationship something seems odd without giving any spoilers. To start with the series you could watch the anime first then continue with the manga. Also the MC isn't some indecisive lead like most romance manga, nothing to worry about.

The series is highly underrated because of the main character and a choice he makes dumping the girl he was with only to follow his true feelings, but this happens in the first quarter of the manga and the manga just gets better and better from that point. Read the manga and you will be drawn in, don't listen to others and don't look at the rating.

Another bonus is this manga is complete with marriage... not a spoiler! just read the tags. smile
