It can be frustrating at times, considering the implications of the Irises and how the society in-universe acts, that the author doesn't spend more time on it to show us further parts of it or keep element internally consistent. Some of the powers presented are practically godlike yet no one uses them for anything beyond the most obvious ability, and the adults (and seemingly world at large) are disinterested in the abilities of a generation of psychic youths. The world just functions like our real one without considering the ramifications of 99.997% of people under the age of 25 having a magical perception power no one else has.
Additionally, the drama is questionable written... Some characters get away with doing frankly terrible things and even get to join the main friend group with no recourse. Characters act like morons to further the plot, and some stuff just flat-out doesn't make sense. It occasionally feels like things are made just a bit too complex solely for making the mc seem smart, rather than to present an interesting mystery for the readers.
There's also a really annoying unresolved plot point brought up right near the indefinite hiatus of "We're not really all friends we're just friends of the two main people" and "The MC doesn't have any actual friends", neither of which makes sense as we have seen the "side" friends interact, banter, and hang out without the main two repeatedly throughout the series, and all the way back in chapter 10 before all the characters got even closer still the main character already had a mutual friendship and mutual BEST friendship on the relationship chart.
The one thing this series really has going for it is the slice of life, romance, and comedy in the downtime between arcs. Character interactions are very cute and frankly I would like the series a lot more if it just focused on that instead of delving so heavily into forced drama and stilted mysteries.
If I were to compare it to another series, it has very similar vibes to ReLIFE so I would recommend it if you like this, or vice versa.
