just, wow. first you thought this, then you thought that, then it turn 47 degree and you look at it in a similar, but somehow different light. surely, this is a great oneshot. the art is incredible too, a feast for the eye.

edit:
all in all this manga have great art, great characters and interesting plots, but sub-par pacing. the pacing really need to tighten up.

i didn't expect that i will like this story, i'm not really in to this genre but i still gave it a shot, and i'm glad i did...i love the plot and how the mystery of the past has been uncovered...i really think Yuri's MENTALLY SICK, for me i still think she is,she's creepy, and not to mention her STOCKHOLM SYNDROME with that man, although she has her own reason behind her actions but still...*sigh*! her friend Kaze who repressed everything what happened in the past, was kidnapped by her sicko bff and was forced to remember what happened back then and when she suddenly remember...Yuri confessed something to her....

i love the part where yuri said this...

" what do you think spirits are, well i have always thought that it comes from the deepest strongest part of person's heart, the body is at most just the vessel to carry the spirit...the spirit is the flame of the heart"

In the midst of a time, when I felt again all the generic weaknesses of the Shoujo genre, I stumbled about this collection from NAO Tsukiji. Okay - I admit, that I already had fallen for her other work Adekan, but this one could get me on her side again. Kkk.Let's take a look, of what the reader awaits in the stories, from my point of view:

1. Haikyo Shoujo: This story will probably the one, that will stay the most clear in my memories. The characters and the tension between them, just like the setting and conclusion have been left me with a thrilling impression. I especially liked the facial changes, that have always left me a bit unsure, of what I should expect to happen next - or in the end.

2. Ongaku ga Mieru Otoko: It's a nice story about life and regrets from the past, which is set aside from the general trend to put hints of romance everywhere. For me, this story is just right and the drawings fancy, although for me it may not be as captivating as the next.

3. Tansu Shoujo: This one is almost on the same level as the first chapter, but somehow it's hard to decide, if I liked the fast changes within or if it would have been nice to see a bit more of each twist. However, the development was unexpected and made this a rare page turner.

4. Boushi no Ue no Oka: This one is a fun read, that's what gives it a different feel from the others. Although at first it seemed rather creepy and maybe had a heavy undertone, but with the lively characters it turned out to be just right.

To sum it up - The drawing style of the author is as usual rather flashy, but that's how I like it and so for me it's just beautiful to look at. Kkk. The characters personalities show a wide range, just as the stories do. That's why, if you want to get a new glimpse of the Shoujo genre or if you feel bored by the generic works out there, this collection will be a good choice. ^^
