just finished reading
I watched the drama series that this manga was based on about a year ago. Even though there were a lot of differences and cuts, I still liked the manga better. Yes, it's overly dramatic and has a heart breaking ending (and I dont mean bad ending), but it's still an amazing story.
The feeling I get when I read this manga is the same feeling I get when I read NANA. They're both great stories but while you're reading, when you finish reading, and even when you remember it or think about it later on, you still feel like your heart is about to burst, that's how moving, touching, emotional, and stirring it is.
My advice to whoever is planing on reading this manga is 1. watch the drama series first cuz it's gonna help you understand the manga better. 2. BRING A LOT OF TISSUES!

The story had potential, but in the end was just another sappy story. There was no character growth and there were a few two-dimensional characters. The ending wasn't to my liking either. The story just ended like "BAM. the end," quite literally.
This manhwa is so unbelievably unbearable, it hurt a lot to see the two main characters cry over each other being so far away when they didn't even know close they really were, it really does hurt....Call me a creeper but i can't stand it anymore, i just want them to find out once and for all. I never knew a manhwa could have this effect on me T.-
I checked when the drama - Sad Love Song/Story - came out, and it was in the beginning of 2005 (2005-Jan-05 to 2005-Mar-17). This just heightens my curiosity...was this manhwa based on the drama or is the drama based on the manhwa? I'm leaning towards "manhwa based on drama" because this isn't the first time I've seen it happen.
I was weirded out with the whole American thing, and quite frankly, was sort of offended with the stereotype. "White bread and black milk"? Wtf? First of all, why are Americans in Korea in the first place? Don't tell me they are in a "business trip".
There are just so many things I would like to say about this series but instead of entailing others with my fangirlism; I'll go straight to the point. This manhwa went beyond my expectations, not only with beautiful art but with a beautiful story line. Trust me, this story was too good for normal cliches. The story really developed and the transitions were well-slated, I didn't get confused (As my mind is that of a gold fish) and each and every moment just tickles your heart Elmo.
Each character got their moment and you can literally watch them grow. The interactions were absolutely adorable. The drama was well-plotted and not overly dramatic typical shoujo-esque. The storyline did not dragged nor ended like a bullet. Though the ending was a tad...dare I say sad? Heh.
This is definitely not a typical shoujo for you. Pure bittersweetness. I love it.

i didn't know the drama was based on a manhwa! there's an actual drama on this!!! it's awesome, you guys should see it. it's called SAD LOVE STORY. hah! that's why this manhwa first caught my eye.
its so bittersweet... makes my heart ache. can't wait for more (and that rich CEO that i bet is hot ;)
i've just read about 2 chapters so far, and this manga had touched me already....there's this feeling of peace and meaningfulness (?) in the story, and the art is very nice, too...i think this is a manhwa, 'cause the drawing style doesn't look like a normal manga drawing style to me...
