I enjoyed this series, I've read alot of manga so I was pretty sure who she'd end up with but I had my doubts from time to time towards the end.

I didn't find Sae that annoying, some people seemed to hate her, I can't really see why, she plays the villain and she does it good. I was more annoyed at Toji for being so naive from time to time in the start.
Momo was also a bit annoying at some points but it was all really realistic tbh.
Some parts was a bit like, "why can't they just be straight with eachother" but it drove the stort on in a nice way. One of the best love triangle stories I've ever read.

P.S. I've seen this manga around for quite some time but always hesitated to pick it up because of comments and I didn't really take a liking to the cover of the book... It's really worth reading tho

Hahaha this manga is insaaaaane. It was the first manga I ever read and thus it does hold a fond place in my heart, but really, it's actually kinda awful. But kinda awful in a good way. It's like a love triangle gone super wrong and crazy, but kinda done right as well since at some points you really don't know who the main character will end up with (although more experienced shoujo readers probably would know...) but yeah, by the end, I realized it's really kinda stupid, but somehow i still like it, perhaps since it's my first manga... The character development is pretty good in the first half, but I feel like after a certain point they start focusing on the drama too much and the plot just spins out of control. Although by the end she ends up with someone, you really doubt how long the relationship will last because of all the swinging she does within the series...

I never really could get into this manga. I found that Momo really didn't stand up and prove to anyone that she wasn't the way they thought she was - rather all she did was allow suspions to fester by acting out like she has something to hide while always pushing forward her lil-miss-perfect image. Strangely enough though, I found myself liking Sae. Although she is cruel and petty, after reading 'Sae's Story' it isn't like you can say she had the perfect home life. The justice that was served to her at the end of the series, in my opinion, was stupid. 'Boo-hoo, realizing that Momo was one of her only true friends'? Please! Gag me cuz Momo although she didn't outright do anything nasty, she was was just as Sae.

I really don't know what to say. I love this manga because it was one of the first mangas I read that got me into the manga world but the plot.. is so weak! LOL it's full of cliches. I couldn't stand how the mangaka kept on making their lives harder and harder. And all this revolved around love and how Momo didn't trust her S/O (significant other). What was the outcome for Toji? And how come she's all chummy chummy with Sei towards the end? Eh..I read this manga twice ( reread it again this time but i skipped the first 8 volumes) for the hell of it but I wouldn't want to read it again smile

I must say, Momo is the most NEEDY, BITCHY, and indecisive main female lead I've found in shojo thus far. I mean, there are the normal, idiotic, stupid, can't make up-my-mind shojo girls, but this is just ridiculous! I mean, she is just so needy... UGGGH. Its disgusting!

The story itself just seems to be repeating itself over and over, only with different characters. Also, I dislike how Momo drops the male leads, forgets about them completely, leave them to be slaves, and then comes running back to them when she gets dumped.

Sae is idiot and plain stupid. She is no doubt the worst villian ever, on top of all that. She is as needy as momo, but even stupider and more annoying.

Drama on a Stick

I swear, this manga is pure drama on a stick. It's good, but pure drama.

I'd recommend it for a quick, light read. Nothing too mind boggling, except why they keep being nice to Sae instead of kicking her to the curb.

Peach Girl is a very typical shoujo love triangle plot with no originality. The main character is extremely flaky- instead of rooting for her, I wanted to beat her over the head several times.
The manga creates all of these personality traits for her characters- such as Momo's love of swimming and dislike of her tan skin- yet they all seem to fall to the wayside during the melodrama of everyone's love life. Plus, there are plenty of plot holes to make you want to pull your hair out in frustration.

The only reason I am giving this a 3 instead of a 1 is because I read the whole 18 volumes without giving up. Despite being one of the worst shoujo mangas I've ever read, the story was compelling enough to continue.

Overall, I say read it for the fluffyness but DON'T BUY IT!!!

hated the kind of drama and repetitiveness. In short the storyline sucked. In a whole it looks like a copy cat version of parfait tic but with some evil woman drama and poor characterization.

I just started to watch the anime and it's not half bad. I mean, yeah it's the usual shojo manga, but at the same time it has a "real life" aspect to it. The artwork isn't the worst i've seen in a manga, and the storyline isn't half bad either. I'd recommend this to anyone who loves the romance/drama genres. To tell the truth, this isn't something i'd pick up again though...
