Description

Ryuu, a super-businesslike transfer student from England--with black hair, and blue eyes just arrived! In mangas it's like a rule that girls must wait for so long to finally be with their love. UGH are you kidding me?! who does that.
Girl, you need to broke up and that's it, you don't need to wait years for someone who's maybe having fun with someone else. well definitely is having fun, he's a man for God sake meanwhile you are "waiting" that's stupid.

I actually wrote a long reply to princessvera but then i deleted it bc replying to a crazy feminist is a waste of my time.
Review: this story is super cute. The guy might be a bit pushy, but he always knows the limit and when to stop pushing that limit (like when she said stop or when he knew she was forcing herself when she wasnt ready). The girl is the purest as pure can come. She is sweet and understanding and almost turn into a typical shoujo character (some may argue that she is one), but you cant help but adore her bc she has her strong moments and at the end of the manga, we she her matures and "bloom." This story is not believable at all.. not one bit (a 16 yr old businessman who is in charge of some important company and already took business classes in uni, but decide to go to a regular highschool in japan while conducting business oversea.....), but if you dont dig in too much, you will find this story very erotic (wink to all the perv out there ;D) but at the same time adorable (with a mix of maturity at the end).
Btw, the mom is awesome. Very supportive and respect her daughter's relationship (she only does this bc she knows her daughter is a responsible girl soo dont go around calling the mom a person who supported an "abusive" relationship)

Thought the ending was cute. And actually liked how the forcefulness a little.. But thought the story was lacking in feeling.. Couldn't get myself into it. Starts with a normal guy likes girl situation.. The bond was too easy.. The problems too easy. Guy could do and leave whenever so it was kind of stupid.. Ending was cute.

I don't really get what everyone is complaining about. Yeah, Ryuu is kind of pushy, but he always respects her and stops when she says 'stop.' They don't go beyond kissing until SHE decides she's ready. Her mom approves because, well, she's just one of those moms. I love this manga so much. Ryuu is slightly abrasive buy he truly loves Yukino. The last chapter is my favorite by far ❤

Read the whole manga for yourself because I honestly got something completely different from the reviewer who called him "abusive." Sorry, but I think they need to look up the definition of abuse because NOTHING Ryuu does falls in that category.

I liked the story of Kiss/Hug very much. While it is typical shoujo it was also a bit tsundere and very cute. My only complaint in this story is the art work. The male characters were not as drawn as well as the female characters. If you are able to move beyond the so so art work- you will find a very enjoyable story.

yes, I liked it. Nothing is perfect, but this manga has some good points. First of all, it turns out different from expected. If you are a normal reader, you'll probably expect or predict what a certain event leads to, but there were times when I got something different from what I had expected. So instead of putting in all that a typical shoujo has, the mangaka has tried something different....maybe? This story could have been dragged on, but it ended well. There is not what happens in usual rich-poor romance where parents are standing in the way, so I was glad for that. And there is not your usual misunderstanding, lots of drama, love triangles, weak lead etc. You have a nice protagonist, yeah she might seem too repulsive at times but that is not a reason to dislike her.

Overall, its good. Try it!

Kako is one of my favorite mangakas of all time. I love all of her works. Kiss/Hug and Ai Hime - Ai to Himegoto being my favorite by her and also a part of my top 20 mangas list. She's brilliant.

The romance is so real and beautiful, the characters are amazing (no annoying heroines and competent, handsome and lovable guys), the storyline is fantastic, it moves at a great pace, loose ends are tied up and they're remarkably happy.

I cry in these mangas. If the heroine is sad, I'm usually sad because they aren't whiny girls. Even if something dramatic lasts for only a page or two I'm usually pouring my eyes out like a bloody fool. It's that kind of story, you get used to the happy moments and suddenly the world is turned upside down.

But the characters are mature and handle things well, it's fantastic. I'm not just speaking of this story in particular, I'm speaking of all of Kako's works.

Read all of them, you'll revisit them again and again, but no matter how many times you read them that sensation you get when they kiss for the first time, confess for the first time, cry for the first time, have sex for the first time and when the ending comes will be like reading it for the first time.

It's brilliant, I love Kako and I can't wait for more mangas from her!

Splendid! At first, I never thought of picking this one up and read it but after days of consideration, I started to read it out of boredom. But it turned out FAR better than how I thought it would. It is very romantic and explains everything that a teenager girl would like to experience at least once in a lifetime. It got my heart go all "doki, doki," throughout the manga. But be aware that this manga revolves around the issue of : "Are you ready for the next level?" Or "Let's do MORE," kind of thing. Sometimes there would be times when you would get irritated with the heroine's mother's reaction towards the couple's skinship. How open she is towards their progress in relationship. But putting that all aside, this manga is is truly a romantic one. If you are not very much comfortable with their sudden progress in skinship I would recommend for you to read 'Hana ni Arashi' as a warm-up.

I'm really grateful that sensei didn't add some love triangle for added drama, but rather let the natural development in relationships be enough for them to overcome. This may make some think the story is boring, but i actually found it to be slow paced, which is right up my alley.
The characters personality are quite funny to "see", and it was refreshing to see in shoujo/smut a hero who is not an A-hole right from the start. He's not afraid to tell/show her exactly how he feels about her, and instead of forcing himself on her, he makes her accustomed to him a little at a time. Honestly if i were her, i would have let him eat me all up within the 2 first chapters....which would probably make him not want me as much as he likes her. LOL
