warning: not for those who loves fluffy shojou/shonen-ai or any light stuff. seriously, if you're completely straight and don't like hardcore stuff, simply don't read it =/ Asami Toujou-sensei didn't draw it for you guys, alright?

NO ONE seems to realize that there WAS supposed to be more volumes, but unforuntately TOHJOH-sensei PASSED AWAY! alright? so she can't help it that it ended too abruptly, because there was supposed to be a continuation >_>;~
anyways, if you're a straight guy who isn't into yaoi, i dunno why you'd look at it at all.
i personally loved it. it could have gone on and developed into something much more, but unfortunately like i mentioned before, tohjoh-sensei simply can't craw out of her grave to finish it (although i wish she could ;A; ). the anatomy work and artwork overall is beautifully done, and all those tecnical perspectives is so beautifully rendered. i have no idea how she does it, but she's one of the only artists who could do perspectived sex so well.
if you like s&m you'd love this ^^~

Well, I really didn't like it. Not because of the S&M, since I started reding it being totally aware of this fact, but I didn't like the story. As they mentioned before, the ending is waaay too abrupt (at least for my taste).

I think this story is perfectly fine, porn is porn, it serves its purpose. I honestly think Toujou-san meant this to be porn, and it's just that. Those who ick at just the thought of hardcore yaoi, why didn't you read the summary, look at the cover? It has bdsm/porn written all over it. D:

Please don't say that Toujou gives a bad name to all yaoi, because she is very capable of of making complex meanings and realistic situations. I really admire her ability to wring out the right emotions in just the right places. It also kind of pisses me off that you guys are bitching about the ending! SHE DIED GUYS, how the hell is she supposed to control that....

For the comment below mine; IF YOU'RE STRAIGHT THEN DON'T READ IT. Even if you're bi-curious then start with the rather not-so-mature types. I mean really, there are LABELS that say if its hard core or not. Jeez Louise.
I think her work is beautiful and you know that there's a load of skill involved in her art. What you have to know about her is that its just not yaoi that she does but more into the MORE DEVELOPED MATURE kinds. Some people need to get that screwed to their head.

This was my first and most likely will be my last yaoi experience. Being a hardcore anime/manga I have a principle of watching/reading anything and this being a yaoi, I got what I expected... guys f**king each other.

There was a pretty decent story to it but me being a straight guy, I cannot say that I enjoyed it. ^_^

Okay it didn't sicken me as some people have said. As a smutty read yea i guess it qualifies.. If your looking for a good story to get into and feel for the characters and all that.. then this isn't what your looking for. As the description says this i a hardcore yaoi, and no it is NOT an understatement.. The manga as a whole, yeah i did keep me reading because i was curious how it ended with all the characters.. But then again you don't even find that out. Summed up, it was okay for a short kinky read.

Edit: The very fact that the rating chart is so varied on this volume cause me to have more respect for the creator. She had the courage to create something that is controversial (thus the vast scale of rating and strong feelings.) Regardless of our personal opinions, I think we can all applaud her for her ability to create something that evokes powerful feelings one way or another! 🙂
De gustibus non est disputandum (There's no accounting for taste.) I don't dispute anyone's opinion. Opinons are indisputable. They are our own and we don't need to defend them. BUT I feel I need to add another perspective to this misaligned manga.

I couldn't stop thinking about this one - it was so extraordinary. So many mangas that I read are all too forget-able. This one is not. It grabbed hold of me, made me think about relationships and the power one can hold over another; how someone can act differently or be immobilized by certain people in situations that normally wouldn't phase them if it was a different person. It made me explore myself and my beliefs. Think: disturbing content = Theatre of Cruelty (not what you think - Check it out!) as created by Antonin Arnaud.

I am a fanatic fan of dark BDSM fantasy so this one is also incredibly HOT to me.

The only reason I hesitated to rate this tankobon a 10 was because I was so disappointed when it ended mid-tension! I ached for at least a few more tankobons to further this fascinating page-turner. Alas, it wasn't to be. I hope a doujinshi circle picks it up!

I believe the ratings are misleading on this tankobon. If I didn't like a genre before I even picked up a specific manga in said genre, of course I would rate it low. For example, if i didn't like yuri and it squicked me beyond comprehension, and then, for some strange reason -perhaps I didn't realize it- i picked a yuri manga up to read, I would most certainly have a low opinion of it. So, if one doesn't like dark BDSM and it squicks one completely, then one shouldn't pick one up to read.

Maybe the problem lies not in the graphic nature and disturbing content. Maybe the problem lies in it being marketed in the wrong genre? I don't know - it seems that it was labeled clearly at Liquid Passion. But maybe it wasn't clear enough.

I can hardly understand why there are so many upset people/comments on this one, there are hundreds far more explicit and perverse yaoi out there, than this. And this is Asami Tohjoh after all, her stories are almost always have some degree of bizarre cruelty to them and usually are geared more toward gay population, than female.

I, for one, am more annoyed at the fact that the artist has changed her drawing style toward more generic bishounen yaoi. Overall it's pretty average story.

The artwork was nice.... but that's all there was. There was no plot and the ending was really abrupt. I absolutely hate being left hanging like that. As for the sex, it was beyond kinky. Shudder Maybe that kind of S&M torture thing works for some, but it doesn't do it for me.

Edit: - I'm deeply sorry to hear that Ms. Tohjoh Asami passed away in October. Despite what I may think about Love Prism, her artwork was good.

This one i can say the graphics are quite well done, honestly sometimes all i wanted to do was look at the pictures because the story was quite twisted. Perhaps is because am all about the love and the ending is too abrupt. If you are looking for hardcore BDSM then you will surely enjoy this one, but this is certainly not for everyone.
