good manga yet weird. maybe the kid should been sent therapy. to stop monster cant they use cell jammers so cell dont get signal? there a lot of questions. also the romance a bit wierd unless there no blood related? it be ncie if there an anime maybe. i wish we learn more about some side character. the ending felt way to upbrupt...wish it be like what happened after six month ad there daily lives now. it like other said the manga has high point then low points. sometimes the mc is annoying.

A great shonen action manga, but to be honest the reason I started reading this was because I thought I saw haseo on the manga artwork. This is one of those unsung manga that deserve an anime but never get one, just wish I knew why there hasn't been a new chapter in over 3 months, out of all the shonen action manga out there this is definitely one of the greater ones, hope a new chapter comes out.

A seinen that suffers from shonen flaws

Just dropped this at chapter 45, it was becoming too irritating.
First of all, I like to think I have pretty good tolerance for typical bulls***. I've read a lot of shonen and its usual cliches have become something normal by now. So I was quite surprised when I felt my rage meter reaching dangerous levels due to some shonen flaws in this seinen.
Before that let me just say this manga does things right until around volume 6. It has a good main character, a good story and entertaining action and pace. I was honestly enjoying it quite a bit. One thing that this story achieved very well imo was the creation of several villains. There were many evil people around our main character. An insanely strong psychotic serial killer. A hateful, manipulating, scheming, false woman who was a leader of a secret organization. And some others. The main character couldn't fully trust anyone. On the one hand he was "forced" into the organization, but its evil side that could at anytime destroy him never let him think of the organization as a friend or its members as allies, much less the leader who is so evil it's infuriating. On the other hand that organization is fighting to protect humanity from monsters, while protecting themselves from the serial killer. Enemies everywhere. The manga does a wonderful job of making you thoroughly hate the characters. At a certain point you're cheering for them to get what they deserve and get it good. And that's how I was at the beginning of volume 6 [Warning: Slight Spoilers Ahead].
Sorry but I can't swallow all that bs. I have seriously had enough. But if you can handle that cliche give the manga a try, you'll probably enjoy it.

And then, the biggest shonen cliche struck at the worst timing. You know... Those characters you really despise and hate? Yeah let's forget that, they're good people.
At this point I'm left with a blank face, while a silent enormous WTF fills the air. We are just supposed to forget all the unnecessarily evil doings of those characters. Those characters' personalities do a total 180. Psychotic serial killer turns into caring nice guy. Evil manipulating b***h turns into good person who wishes to save everyone or something like that. The change happens in a matter or 2-3 chapters. Your hate for them remains. And even funnier, they're still around 50x more hateful than the new real villain that came about.

Read up to chapter 45 so far and I have to say I love this series. The art is great, the story is very interesting, the characters are nicely done, and I love Neene, she is just too cute.
and as for what "demonofchaos" said about tons of unanswered questions and no answers, it sounds a bit misleading. There are quite alot of questions and mysteries that have been filled in, but as with any great manga you don't answer all of the questions right away. Some of the bigger questions need to be solved slowly. The manga does have a sense of direction, but due to the unpredictability of events (which is created by the mysteries in the manga) it's not one of those mangas where you can forsee what will happen before it happens but one where you have to be in the moment and get swept along with it [which is a good thing].
Really recommend reading this series. Hopefully the next volume will be out soon~ but even if it takes longer still from what I've read it's worth the wait to me.
EDIT: up to date to chapter 73 and WOW it's gotten so interesting in the last 15 chapters or so! quite a few things uncovered and it seems like it may be nearing it's end.

this manga is quite dark. if you like manga consisting of lies, death, sadness, betrayal, suspicions, costly mistakes- then you'll like world embryo.
although the problems the protagonist and his 'partners in crime' face are pretty imaginative and fictional, the situations they find themselves in can be really realistic, which is, i think, what makes the plot and meaning of this manga amazing. things like lying as a bad habit, losing a loved one, failing at more than one thing etc,,, (the fact that some great characters in the manga die makes the manga even better)
the art is also very good and suits the story line quite well. Nenee makes the story livelier.
like i said- even if you find that the beginning is a little slow, you should read this manga if you like dark stories and weird twists...

seems like the protagonist was planning a Hikaru Genji Plan
but everything gone wrong somehow

The action scenes are engaging, but every single word that appears in this series is so unsufferably pompous and unnatural that I gave up. Still, not without its good points if you have a high tolerance threshold for unconvincing psychology (with manga, a must).

Despite being pretty much standard shonen stock, World Embryo does its job at being entertaining. Just don't expect it to be original. The fight scenes bring nothing new to the genre, and are, to be blunt, boring. And some of the secondary characters really weren't interesting enough for readers to actually "feel" for them when they get their own little story time. Also, while I have no issue with the "Secret Organization" thing they have going on (although its starting to get stale - must every manga have one?), this one in particular just breaks the suspension of disbelief by trying to take itself seriously. A telco company. That beats up monsters. Sure.
Still, Nenee brings an interesting dynamic to the series. And the new twist that the latest chapters have brought about is looking to be interesting. I thought about reserving judgment for the series till it ended, but I figure that would-be readers ought to know - even by the near-50th chapters, it still hasn't done anything original.

“will a lie kept throughout one’s lifetime eventually become the truth?” World Embryo is a manga shrouded with darkness of death, betrayal, and lies. The story revolves around the typical Japanese topic of death and lost. With the main character having lost his most beloved one, which he fails to accept, the story goes on with the main character trying to regain the person whom he loves most and getting mixed up in a world, which is outside of ordinary people’s memories. Meeting with people whom also lost something precious to them, working to regain what they’ve lost, they begin to reveal what had really happened two years ago, which had led to their losses…
