One thing I like about this one is the art(a little ecchi :]), but the story line is just too ordinary..

Suzuka herself is a self-absorbed woman who pines for a dead lover. It took the anime 23 out of 24 episodes before she finally accepted the mc. They call it a romance anime/manga, but it's mostly just Suzuka being a douchenozzle because the mc doesn't live up to her dead lover's legacy. Thus, this is in my bottom 3 anime that I have ever watched out of over 350 anime.

this manga has something which mostly other manga's Don't, i don't what.But if u don't actually see the chapter no. u'llbe amaze that how many chapters u have read and how much time had past.This was a GREAT work by seo kouji (actually his all manga are worth reading) But this type of series u won't find easilly.

the plot was so natural, and the flow and growth of character was so good that it seems almost real.

this was the best romance manga i have ever read(so far)

It was an ok read; very little side character development/storylines, it really was the Yamato/Suzuka show. I'd wager Saotome's side-story would never have happened if it didn't have something to do with Yamato/Suzuka. Personally I would haved liked to have seen more of Hashiba; even pairing her up with Yamato, but alas~

As a side note; it felt as though the whole story of Yamato being a potential track star fell completely flat; as if it was deliberately left unfulfilled/incomplete on purpose to drive the romance of the story, and to avoid a few volumes of showdowns etc. I'm kind of glad it didn't happen, but it still feels as if that aspect of the manga was a miss with it being handled in a rather "meh" way. Miyamoto having a boyfriend would have made it awesome heh.

One thing this manga is great at is the fact that the author does not portray the lead male character in such a crap fashion. Yamato actually has things going for him, although he is not rich nor handsome in extreme cases, he can actually hold a candle compared to other prettyboys. It's great that the author does not introduce a male rival to him and gives Yamato absolute focus. The author also never downplays Yamato physically which gives you a sense of security knowing that his girlfriend won't get raped on the way home from their date and Yamato not being able to deal with attackers. That is very different from other mangas like Ichigo 100% and I"s where the main character is crap.

Another thing that sets this manga apart from others is the pacing! It has great pacing! There are only about 3-4 parts in the manga that made me want to take a break from reading it (and that was only because my eyes hurt from staring at the screen for 10 hours). Yamato isn't shy! Well to be fair he is shy, BUT he takes action! He can confess to the one he likes because he's not buttugly and wimpy like main characters of other mangas. I mean I was quite surprised at the fact that his first confession was so early in the manga! Usually it would take over half a manga until the main character would muster enough courage to confess, but it's not the case here! The author truly knows how to move a story forward and know's how to pace things.

The thing that really sucked for this manga is the female lead. Suzuka was really annoying. The fact that it seems like nothing that Yamato do for her was good enough for her throughout the manga really pisses me off. Personally I thought Yui and Honoka was much more of a match for Yamato. It's too bad their love was never returned. It would have been great if Yamato developed feelings for Yui, if only for a short while.

The ending was ok. It wasn't rushed nor was it dragged. It had a splash of reality in it. I haven't read too many of these shounen romance dramas but it really came to me as a surprise the way it ended.

no doubt that the illustration is high quality. however, the story knida disappoint me, it should be way better more interesting if the author focuses more about track&field... 3/5 later part of the story becomes a pure love drama from a sport romantic comedy...

An ordinary relationship manga with a lot of drama and like.
I personally like ones with humour or perhaps a little bit
ludicrous ones. If you like feeling a bit uneasy maybe this is for you, actually
you might feel like killing something when reading this junk.

If you really read the manga to the point where the is going you opinion from her wiil invert to opposite....

And you all dont know a thing about of her feelings/pain/sorrow why she threaded him bad...

The reason was she liked the other guy who died in accident and she didn't want to feel the same pain about the person she loves, so she tried ignore him, tread yamato bad to him forgets about her, but yamato didn't give up :x

Slowly Suzuka bit a bit was showing her true colors being the opposite of what it was seen in the beginning.

This evolution is the best part of this Manga and when this moment arrived the Manga improved still more.

I loved this Manga since the beginning, for the art, the characters, the realism (yes because in many Mangas the characters are easy to conquer or they fix themselves more in the fanservice etc).

So don't say shit without having read everything until where it goes >_<

And i am reading many ecchi comedy romance drama like Pastel, Mx0, Gacha Gacha, Air gear, etc.

Therefore when you are to read something you need to see all the factors and the reason because such character reacts like that…

This manga has its own unique charm of story pace and progress. Keeps you wanting for more then suddenly some boring moments. Despite that, Nice art. I jus wished that there could have been more competition.

its a good manga! nice character depth, good story though kinda typical, excellent ecchi scenes ^_^

but i cant help shaking off the Love Hina "rip off" feeling....

-guy moves in to a girls only house thing
-guy is a retard
-guy loves girl instantly
-theres a young loli girl who loves the main guy
-older "experienced" girl living in the dorm thingy
-guy is related to the lady who runs the place
-both main girl and main guy have a similar "goal"

and so on and so forth...

but i still like it more than love hina..more realistic and less insane (koalla)..
