If you're tired of whimsical romances then read about this romance. The love that begins between a teacher, who is a novice at love, and a beautiful mysterious woman that he meets at a bench will keep you wondering wheather or not love is truly worth dying for. Here their relationship struggles with the interferences of "deadly incidents" but the big question is, can their love sustain them? This story reminds me of "The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat", which is why I recommend it.
While i don't agree or even find myself able to sympathize with the male lead(i follow Kang Jun's world view, kinda) it's still interesting to watch him. This story has great art and smooth coloring as is expected of a naver 'toon, and the comedic elements have me rolling at times.
What actually prompted me to write a coment though was:
I've read a lot of horror and gore seeing as i read everything i can find, but nothing has made me so fearful that i actually had to check my surroundings like the end of chapter 16. You can't tell me you didn't at least turn around, even in a brightly lit room. and i think the author successfully brought that amount of impact into every emotion purposefully evoked upon the reader.
That alone is why I rate this a 10 as of this moment. I hope for the best in the future of this work as well. ^_~W
This is one of the best webtoons ever! The main guy has no experience in love and he is about to experience a suspenseful, dangerous love! Love this series!
If you are bored of killing, boring, monotonous, shoujo mangas, this one is for you. It's romance but awesome romance, and I for one am in love with this series!!
Another fine web-manga. MC got power to read minds trough hand-shake so he got hurt continuously in relationships, starting from his mother to all potential girlfriends which forced him to take rather mysognystic loveless stance in life ("forever alone"). Than one day he meets a girl that likes him rather than analyzing if he's a boyfriend material (he later wears gloves to not read her again)
His love inexperience is hilarious. He asks girl mourning over dead bf why she can't just become the way she was before meeting him and when dumped doesn't understand why it hurts if he knew the girl just for a few days.
It's not very well drawn for my taste and starts kinda slow but after 6-8 chapters I was hooked.
...so Insane, Crazy, Twisted, EVER!
But this is DEFINITELY GREAT MANHWA with Romance, Drama, Mystery, Psychological, Tragedy, Slice of life!
It's scary Manhwa! Not have Horror genre, but definitely HORROR! Scary! And Not Normal! Abnormal!
But the good thing is, the ending is acceptable! WORTH! As long as you not scared at unexpected picture or close to surprise thing. 😀
...... rly nothing u can do other than just read it, if I even attempted any description of this epic romantic tragedy I would just be talking(or typing) out my @#$.... read it asap unless you are light hearted, cuz as far as twists go this thing is basically a metaphorical king kong that is currently bending m night shamalon(sp?) Over the table......
This one is really amazing, so cool XD
i already see the origial and i can more-less tell what happen in the end
but i really want to read the translated version!
When I first started reading I can't say I thought this was anything amazing...mostly because the male lead kind of annoys me at times, and I can't always understand if his character is kidding or serious or naive or what. ha but maybe that's just me? However as the story goes on he becomes more likable (imo).Also..once they catch the stalker and
you see his face, I pretty much fell in love with him. haha At first I wondered why the authors made him cuter than the male lead, but he's actually the first "murder" victim. (Though I did see that twist coming.) So I guess they wanted him likable. I totally do like him better than the male lead though, and wanted to root for his stalking efforts once Eun Ho got a look into his mind.
BUT the story itself is awesome! It's definitely not something that is easily predictable. It goes along with a good pace for the most part. And then...just when you think it's starting to get a little boring and dragging there's a twist that changes everything (around ch 60ish I think?). I read it was just like, OH SH--! I never saw it coming, and that makes this worth reading if nothing else.
Overall, this is a pretty awesome webtoon and you should definitely check it out! but a warning...
DON'T READ SPOILERS BEFORE YOU START OR YOU'LL RUIN IT!
I'm not one for psychological thrillers. I'm more into shoujo and fluffy romantic comedies. However, at the urging of a friend, I picked this one up. It starts out as a seemingly sweet love story, but turns into an eerie mystery filled with murder, deceit, and confusion. At some point, there was a part that gave me chills so bad that I went numb for a moment. Usually, I stop when a manga starts to creep me right out. However, I just had to keep going.
Melo Holic is, in my opinion, a wonderfully crafted webtoon. Different pieces of the story that don't seem to be connected all fall into place as you read on -- there isn't a single piece that isn't relevant. The main character, Eun Ho, didn't really seem like someone I'd root for, however, he became increasingly likeable as the story progresses. And Ji Eun... well, she's a complex one all right.
I really recommend this webtoon to those who like a good mystery story. There's a little bit of everything mixed into this one. It's a good read, even for those who are just looking to kill time.
Be warned though. Most psychological thrillers contain some pretty disturbing content. If that puts you off, I suggest you don't pick this one up. Otherwise, it's a good read.
