This is actually pretty sweet after the first few chapters. In particular, this author is actually pretty poetic at descriptions. lol at the actual poem

There is a lot of character development here... And don't expect things to stay same as on the beginning. Reflecting on mistakes and improving self is definitely hpening here... Was totally worth it.

At first I didn't like the manga, and thought I should stop after chapter 2, even read the other reviews here. but then someone said she changes around chapter 10 or so. meaning she's not doing the whole delinquent thingy that was like wtf is wrong with her at the start. So pretty much she doesn't really change into one in the end. Glad I kept reading ! Cause after that terrible but funny bit. The couple are really sweet !

The word 'stupid' seems reverberate throughout the reviews for this manga. It's sad but it's an accurate adjective: If a true genius was going to become 'beautiful and flashy' to win the man she likes she would've done research to determine what beautiful really is before ever taking a single step. That research would have led her to look at magazines and research photos of women who have recently won various "Most Beautiful" awards, etc. After that kind of research, she would NEVER have come up with the ridiculously stupid idea that the look of a 'delinquent' equals 'beautiful'. That's such a stupid idea that I can't come up with an appropriately ridiculous adjective to describe it. And that's only one of the frustrating points of this manga. I gave up when the pain of reading it became so intense that I couldn't take it any more. Those of you who are finishing it just for the sake of finishing it, you're much better than I am by far!!

I gave this manga a 2 instead of a 1 because the premise - a nerdy girl choosing to become beautiful (when she previously didn't care) to attract the guy she likes - is a good one and it made me want to read it. But that's it. If it had stuck with that premise instead of changing to 'becoming a delinquent to attract the guy she wants', I might have read further.

Nerdy female lead with nooooo social competence falls in love with the hot and of course stupid guy, confesses and oh my gosh surprise surprise he does not feel the same way for the bookworm -.-
So nerdy girl gets a makeover.

What so far sounds like a shoujo manga from the depths of hell, is hilarious and even though the female lead does not seems like she has been living on the planet earth for the past 18 years but stranded from a planet far far away, she is bearable.

The manga is funny and at some points you want to bang your head against the wall, but still I enjoyed (almost) every moment of it

its amazing how stupid shojo girls can get. she doesnt stand up for herself, shes apparently ocd, and she likes some guy because....because...actually, i have no idea. she just likes him. and the guy is a prick, the girl is a prick, the sister is an idiot(spitting in streets? really? or is that just a translation mistake?)
edit: actually, i learned that spitting in the streets in korea is very disrespectful
but still, this manga sucks for other reason

whats with her hair in the beginning? its about as retarded as hair can get without using mounds of hair gel.

and her plan of revenge? nice going. get revenge on a guy because he blew you off. yes. of course the world revolves around you like that.

and i am kind of ticked off. who says that delinquents dress showy and die their hair? she fails as a 'delinquent' and she fails at life. of course becoming a delinquent is the way to get a guy to like you.

stupid artwork, cliches everywhere, boring and dont read this because you'll have wasted your time.

First chapters practicly killed me... The main character makes you want to throw rocks at her... I don't even get how she could have even that one friend she had >.< Well... I think I kind of found it a little less annoying by chapter 10... I think I'm just gonna keep reading it for the sake of it...

This is one of those manga that makes you just go 'What? ...." You can't even really hate it because its just so... stupid.

The main girl is idiotic. I mean, not only is her reasoning NOT something one would expect with a top student; studying can only get so far, you have to be smart, but also how she does things. Also, as with the other poster, she only likes the guy because he is "hot". Love at first sight, I guess.

Well, I've read worse *cough* Desire Climax *cough* and its not like its particularly bad compared to some other heroines I've encountered.... and I laughed a couple of times, so in the end, I gave it a 3.5. Meaning, I didn't HATE it, but I didn't like it at all.... period. (the .5 was because I laughed twice.)

The main character is a girl whose confession was turned down. Multiple times. And Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, no? But for a model student, she can do some pretty stupid things. Being made over as a "delinquent"? Is it really that difficult? I've dressed as multiple high-school roles: geek, punk, stoner, prep, dude, etc. Dressing like a stupid person is not rocket science. A "smart" girl like her should know that. >_>;;;

Also, she gives up her studies and lifestyle because she "loves" this guy? She doesn't even -know- him. Essentially, she just thinks he's hot. It irritates me, but I can't say I haven't thought about doing something like that before. So really, this is just a geek dream-fulfillment manga. Which is why, in the end, I'm okay with it and will continue to read it. XD

SOOO ANNOYING!!!!!

Let me explain I finished reading the ch. 4 but I think that I'll drop it... the art is ok even pretty good BUT the main caracter is going to make me go crazy!! such a dumb main caracter shouldn't even exist!!
The male main character sure is very good looking, handsome... yet his feelings and character hasn't been expressed at all!
And that dumb, moron, nerd... female!!! * ><° * The plot would really be great if she had a different way of thinking!


Yet there certainly people that like series like this... I didn't.
