what the heck? everyone falls in love with Katsura? boring.
and everyone always get what's going on just by looking at Katsura's face? boring.

Sou and Katsura falling in love was basically "passionless"... although the problems were real I found it dealt with them too calmly.
Katsura's growth into adulthoog is ridden with stereotypes...

Even the art... although the boys are handsome, there are no facial expressions at all! and what about shading?

all in all it's disappointing. it could have been a much better manga

Although this is a shounen-ai manga, the main theme is the art of Kyudo and what it means to become an independent, self assured person.
Sadly, every male character turns out to be gay (except for the brother who is family anyway) and interested in the main character, which takes away a lot of authenticity.
The simplistic art reflects the issue of focusing on the inner strenght very well and makes "Rin!" a calm jewel among its heated and angsty BL companions.

it was interesting to see how the comparison of archery determined the character's personalities as well as capabilities.. as if your bow was not as good, you are a 'lesser' man.. XD i loved it.

this definitely incited my passion for protagowhorism- because all these hott men were after Katsura ;D i felt that the flaws in the characters were realistic as well, and shouldn't be blamed..

cute, sweet, a must read.

It was a very sweet manga and I enjoyed it. Although there were a few parts that I thought were a bit "iffy", it was overall very good. The storyline I felt was written for something the main character has to overcome in life and oneself (which I have no complaints with this type of theme).
Although Honami's art is very simple, for some reason I feel it's very comforting and relaxing -- conveying a story without the need for much details in art.
Absolutely sweet - recommend to read.

(spoiler) the one thing that bugged me was, katsuras best friend, he was really annoying and when he asked katsura if he'd choose him over his boyfriend (Sou), he didnt answer right away, he has known sou for years and yet he cant decide if his Boyfriend is more important to him than his best friend, that really annoyed me... by the end of the novel i felt as if katsura was kind of a jerk wanting to keep both his boyfriend and bestfriend even knowing that his best friend had feelings for him. i felt bad for sou, being stuck with a jerk that cared more about himself and keeping his best friend, than his feelings.

i agree this is a cute manga and it makes me crave for more volumes or more chapter. i have read only the ring finger knows and it is such a cute manga no wonder Rin is quite a good read too. I really wanted something to happen between koichi and the older brother. I think the story would be cute too.

This manga is so cute and adorable! The characters were so angsty but it was sweet angst. =) Instead of all those PWP smut-filled yaoi, Rin! actually has a point and some smex to boot! Also, Rin! is written by the same person who wrote Only the Ring Finger Knows! Now that wins some points. BD

This manga is absolutely adorable. The plot is so sweet and the characters just make you want to squeal. If you're sick of pointless BL, then this is definitely a must read.

One of the sweetest shounen ai mangas that i've read so far. it's really an engaging story that makes you wanna continue until you've reached the end! great story rather nice art... i like the bishies in there... and the cutie guys too... read it...
