Sequel to Immortal Regis.
24 Volumes (Complete)

Hmm, I don't even understand what callmebaboon is trying to say? What I think he's trying to say is that since he didn't like the prequel then he mustn't have liked the sequel. If you didn't like the first one then why are you reading the sequel. Seriously people like these are annoying and just want to give a manwha some low ratings.
Just as Lippe-kun said, the main characters from Immortal Regis are really cool characters. Hopefully they come back in later chapters.
if you were a fan of IR you may be a bit disappointed in CoA. Damn near all of the relationships got thrown on their head, we had a huge time skip pertaining a where a lot of things have happened but we aren't getting filled in, and we have an entire slew of new characters who are all important plot wise yet we know very little about them. And the new main character kinda blows plus WTF is up with his shallow ass back-story, IR had a good amount of depth to it but I find CoA to be too shallow, It's a shame I loved the first one but this is almost un-readable
Just to drag the manga the author has messed up whole plot ...really it becomes unreadable.////
Nobody knows whos father is who....this lead us to question integrity of female characters her//
author has written female character very poorly and are on suffering side...as a guy I can't read manga where female characters are treated as such poorly////
Don't read it unless you are sadistic///
I had hoped for a direct continuation of the prequel, seems we jumped time and space and ended up with a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT mc. Makes me sigh, also isn't that funny anymore.
i really think they messed up cavelier now that the hero of the previous serie the bad guy is. And serin is now a bloodbank for him. i'am really hoping they would get together again. But most likely he will be killed. it really ruined the serie. that's why koreans story are sometimes messed up with alot of drama and tearjerker with stupid twist
Immortal Regis had a crapload of plotholes, deus ex machina, loose ends, and other typical signs of bad writing. Its no wonder that when the author decided to continue the the series with the help of a new writing assistant, he rebranded the series as Cavalier of the Abyss to lessen the connection between it and the mediocre crap that was IR. In fact, the main reason why I had to dock points from Cavalier's score was because the author had to introduce some contrived plot points in order to make Cavalier's story flow with IR's.
TL 😀 R if you're going to start reading this series, don't bother with IR. Just start with Cavalier.
EDIT (4/8/15): I just caught up the to the latest chapter (Ch.127), and I have to say the plot twists here are fucking fantastic. The story is at a great point too, with incredibly numerous plot threads and subthreads reaching their climax while new ones are still being introduced. Updated rating from 8.5 to 10.
