I've read this so many times, but I refuse to pay anything towards used manga when the seller had no part in this masterpiece.

I never get bored of this♡

This is one of my favorites! I keep coming back to it. I feel like both Noriko and Izark grow as the story progresses which is probably why it's one of my favorites. They both learn to accept themselves and although Noriko isn't strong she always tries, she never gives up and just waits to be rescued - it's so refreshing! The romance is more subtle and definitely a slow burn even though you can see the feelings they both have but that just makes it seem more realistic and like it will last unlike lots of manga where they confess even though they don't know or trust each other.

I have to say, Noriko is the epitome of damsel in distress, always in danger, is weak, and has no control of the things happening in her life. I usually hate those type of female leads, but she is just so adorable that I find it hard to hate her. She does what she can and I think that is why I like her so much. Yes she can't do much, but she is doing her best and I truthfully can't hate her for that.

There is a lot of meh moments, but also a lot of cute moments that I find I will reread from time to time. I read this back in the yonder days of magic knight rayearth and Fushigi Yuugi, so it was sort of the only decent romantic adventure of a girl who was pulled into another world that was out in my region at the time.

This is such a cute traveling-to-another-world fantasy. The characters are so cute but strong, specially the main ones. I totally fell in love with them, their relationship its truly amazing.
It is really adorable and entertaining, it ends being light vs. dark, but it is really appealing and I recommend it a lot.

Maybe my expectations were too high. I went in thinking this would blow me away because all the reviews seemed to praise it. It started out okay, became cliched, ended okay. Honestly wasn't that remarkable. Then again, I don't expect much from shoujo. The one thing that actually stood out was that Noriko isn't your typical shoujo girl who cries throughout the whole series, having to be saved all the time. Yeah she cries plenty of times and Izark saves her lots of times, but she doesn't stay a weak-willed character. She learns to stand up on her own and finds her own strength which was refreshing. Still, the story was just kind of bland. Meh, 7.

The only thing I'm not happy about this manga is that it's over and it's long enough. Please this now, this is one of the fantasy shoujo that many has attempted to create but fail too. I baffled that this manga is looked by fushigi's popularity.

You know that feeling when you've just experienced the most epic, memorable story and you're not sure whether you'll ever recover from it or read anything like it again? That's the effect of Kanata Kara/From Far Away. It needs no lengthy explanation or justification - it's simply a beautiful, sweeping masterpiece with a touching love story and heartwarming message at its center.

There's nothing I can complaint about this manga. Many types of travel to another world but I like it best. Noriko is an usual girl, loves cute things, scares of height etc. She is neither a goddess nor a genius. I'm happy to see her change herself little by little.

Liked the characters, the "have to learn the language" part, and the relation of the two main chars, unfortunately as the story moves forward it gets more cliched and the setting being quite common doesn't help. The main thing I didn't like thou is that there are too many "convenient miracles" to call it somehow, enemies having a change of heart, fortunate fantasy occurrences, allies suddenly appearing at the critical time, etc. you get the gist. Also, there are too many constant obstacles, I enjoy a little slice of life even if it's for just a couple of chars, but there is always something to fight or getting in the way and the times where they do have some leeway is just skipped from the story
So yeah I like it and it's a nice read but I don't find it as something special in the shoujo genre as distraughthallelujah says, thou I wouldn't go as far as to call it "unremarkable", just good. Also, unlike distraughthallelujah I wouldn't call Noriko a wimp or weak at all, I'd like to see any of us in similar circumstances. She does what she can with what little power she has and doesn't give up in adversity, that's way harder than fighting when powerful and it takes more courage too.

I was totally in love with this series in the beginning but after awhile it got too political, not a enough romance (for my taste anyway), and at some point I viewed them more as siblings rather than a couple . However its still worth reading its a great storyline and characters are not annoying but likable.
