even though it's old, the art is really PRETTY.
I mean both characters are BEAUTIFUL! ._.
the plot is...great, the way the do FALL IN LOVE is really cute~ (put sex escenes ;D and shit and cooool!)
the story is really nice n_n and cool!

this is really a good yaoi to read ! i don't know what else i can say , the art is good, the story line is great, there is no twisted ending that makes you regret the whole manga, there is a lot of romance and cute scene of jealousy , the two main characters are adorable!

I love love love this series so much.
I think Haru wo Daite ita is the one who made me a yaoi fan girl
It has a lot of my 'thing' like younger uke, jealous and possesive lover, manly gay couple and hot smut too.
Although it's a bit old, but it's acceptable art, and slowly grow into my liking.

i just cant get enough! though there are a lot of chapters, i never get bored. i love the romance in this one. its not just plain homo sex out of nowhere but very clearly defined and reasonable. It makes me rethink about my biased opinion on yaoi (which is gay love with random sex). this is a truly wonderful story full of drama, sex and romance that has the right balance. Not to mention its goddamn sexy 😉 ive managed to read alot of yaoi and i found most stupid and disgusting. but this...this is just beautiful. it cannot make my heart hurt or what but it can make my you know what throb =))))) i feel so guilty being horny on a pure, beautiful and sensible manga. katou is very childish and can be bitchy at times but i loooooove how much he loves iwaka (was it his name?).
All the same, i want to read this through the end. (it gets hotter each passing chapter)

I have been avoiding this manga for years, I knew it was a classic but I didn't like the art on the cover, but I finally started reading it a few days ago and I was surprised, the art really isn't that bad and the manga turned out to be pretty good. The characters are pretty interesting and it really is so refreshing to have no uke/seme stereotypes, no one is the guy or girl of the relationship here. It had potential...

But my biggest beef with this manga though is all the drama.. I've been taking note that at least once per chapter one of the characters screams/shouts a super melodramatic statement. It was ok at first but I'm only on the 4th volume and I'm already rolling my eyes at their antics... I feel like they flip out on each other over the tiniest crap. I'm not really feeling either of the characters at this point. If this keeps up, I don't know how I'm going to make it through the rest.

i don't know what but i can assure you it's something good..
The characters i believe, are the reason why the story was so good. So, for me the plot was good, but the characters are what makes you fall in love with... their mutual love...
I can't call it the greatest manga of all (not that i have a complain, is just the feeling left) but is definitely worth reading... No waste of time.

I love how lozzenator camaired this to "queer as folk"! ^_^ I love this series. It has hot sexy scenes, fashion, comedy, and great characters. This is one of my favorites series of all time. I especially love the "movie" that they did "Fuyu no Semi" that was amazing. It made cry lol. If you are a huge yaoi fan like me, you have to give this a try!

i don't usually read yaoi, but this one was pretty good. i like the characters a lot. the love story is told in a way that everyone can connect to. the scenes are hot. and story line is ok. the illustration was awesome.
this manga kind of reminds me off Skip Beat! manga (sans the adult-ness) because both are set in an entertainment industry.

Really, it was a good read, just.... what the hell was up with the side stories inserted at random in the wrong time order?!? Like I get the concept of filler chapters but this was like, they're one year into relationship, random chapter about being 5 years into relationship, back to normal timeline. Or one chapter, shit loads of chapters, random insert of outcome of the one chapter from ages ago with no warning....
Also the 'ending' confuses me, very likely because I don't really get which one is the ending, literally on the site I read this there were three chapters tagged as (end) ??!? Each one of them quite alike to a small story arc conclusion and don't feel like "THE END"

At one point they discussed that they'd call each other by first name on their 25th anniversary, and I thought that would be the ending, them enjoying retirement and hugging while calling each other their first name on the 25th anniversary. But it's like the author just forgot about it and I find it quite weird that such characters that're so comfortable and understanding of each other never purposely call each other by first name! Granted, they may have at one point as I wasn't paying /that/ much attention but it was never specially mentioned for something that they'd agreed to wait 25 years to do....

I actually scanned the tags for the axed ending or ambiguous ending tags, none which are present....
Also, confusing scanslation, some groups did an amazing job and others just made me extremely confused as it made no sense. Some scans were also so grainy that it hurt my eyes. Nevertheless I thank the translators !

As for the art: one thing bugged me, the volume of the characters hair! It looked terribly flat and weirdly proportioned. But otherwise some of the expressions were done extremely well!

Characters: I liked all characters. the main ones were nice too! They weren't perfect, they had flaws and sometimes they overcame them and became more confident, some flaws stuck as well. I also really liked the balance they had between them, Katou never disrespected Iwaki and vice versa, they stood together independently. I enjoyed watching their characters grow and become better people with each other's help.

Plot: I like that it is long but it doesn't have that much of a main plot with a clear goal, fairly intesting events though.

Overall it was a pleasant read, but even though it's complete it feels like it hasn't completed anything, there are still unanswered questions and things that should be addressed but haven't ....

Maybe this manga of YAOI-ness could be in my top 10 of Yaoi. I liked the characters, the fashion, and especially the fact that Iwaki and Kato aren't just worried about their relationship but also as actors. Once in awhile, it gets annoying that Kato is really annoying, whiney, has unnecessary competition and jealousy about the men surrounded Iwaki, but otherwise it was good. It does get a little too sexual for my tastes as they have always have sex but WTH, they're adults, that's what they do. 😛
