Description

The translations are a goddamn mess. At one point the Main Character's sister is 10(?) and MC is 6. Then that sister is 14(?!) and MC is still 6? ML was supposed to be 12-ish while MC is 6 but it turns out he's 14 or 15? What the hell.

So...a 15 year old had a wet dream about a LITERAL6 year old. He had to go take a cold bath in the middle of the night.

No one's gonna say anything?!??? In a lot of comments on various sites people are horrified when MC, as a 6 to 8 year old, starts drinking alcohol to soothe her woes of missing ML...whom she does NOT know is not blood related to her.

So, yeah. Incest.

BUT there's only a few who finds this romance incredibly inappropriate between a teenager and a literal child. WHY is the sexually charged romance starting when MC's 6 years old? There's zero reasons for it.

I don't understand.

Also, wtf is this?

ML kidnapped, imprisoned and wore a fake skin mask of the real 6th prince. When he's sent somewhere far by the Emperor for some years the story doesn't say what happened to the real 6th prince. Did he starve to death, forgotten in the underground dungeon or something?

The art style doesn't help. Anyone under 14 looks 6 years old. You'd never know the sister of MC is 15. She looks and acts the exact same age as MC who starts out as 6 until ch 150-ish. (Yeah, that far in, and even then she only turns 8.)

And so does the ML who, let me repeat, is 9 years older than MC.

When the MC is 14 she suddenly looks 19 or 20. Nothing like when the ML and MC's sister was 14 and both looked about 7 yrs old.

Anyone over 15 but under 50 looks 15. This is especially egregious with the Emperor. He looks a lot younger than even his first born son who's around 20, at most.

Anyone over 50 looks...40-ish. The adult concubines on the other hand looks like they're in their 20s.

Damn. 4 years really changed EVERYBODY.

The once gay, shy, easily flustered, bottom-like Imperial Uncle is now a domineering, cheating, baby-mama making asshole who cast away his male lover and made said lover into a sacrificial pawn.

The male lover became a lot shorter and and feminine all of a sudden. His body is delicate and no longer has the typical top's broad shoulders that he used to have. He's not feminized but he's more emotional and no longer has a flirty, top-like, trickster personality either. Hopefully he doesn't return to the cheating Imperial Uncle because that would be gross.

If the yandere is to become her endgame, which does seem probable with all development, it will leave a bad taste on me. He is not a bad character, per se, though.
