This series is a prelude to the relationship between Sakisasa and Hatori, their ups and downs. What sets this series apart is the fact that each scene is shown twice--once from the girl's point of view and then the guy's.
1 Volume (Complete)

I love this series! I especially liked the alternating POV's. It was nice to see everything from both perspectives, especially because they both thought their feelings were unrequited. It made me remember being a kid and liking a guy, then having to read into his actions. When I look at how he treated her from her perspective, I understand clearly why she thought he didn't like her, and vice versa. The art is a little meh, but I've seen much worse. It's sweet. I highly recommend it. 🙂
I was totally like Mao when I was her age, ignoring and pretending to hate the guys I liked because I was too embarrassed to show it; so this story means a lot more than normal to me. It's perfectly executed and I almost cried when the otp got together. My loves didn't work out for me but I'm glad it worked out for Mao.
This story is simple and a classic love/hate but it makes me feel. It's definitely something you can re-read time and again because it's not a manga that relies on shock value. It makes you think about your first love and the missed connections at that age.
Whenever I'm about to stop reading shoujo, it's stories like these that pull me back in. So sweet and pure.
First, for those who didnt like the art, go away. It's not pretty and it has no bishie.
The plot is simple too. But yet it's still sweet.
The monologue in it is touching. It's cliche but still lovable.
And it's told in 2 different view. Mangaka who can do this will end up either suck or awesome. No in-between.
it's a lovely read. empathizing with the characters is easy. the boy is different than a lot of shoujo heros. the girl is likable and intelligent. i find myself rooting for their union when i'm generally blasé on the subject.
i like the idea and those two are really cute. it's worth reading.btw i know it's hard to find but when you do it's great. the art is a bit sloppy, but you get used to it
This is so sweet! This is the perfect example of shoujo, zettai! The guy is cute and the girl is funny! After reading the summary, I fell in love with the story and just had to read it. *sigh I wish the chapters were coming out from another scanlator, since VK scans are hard to get....Hanashi was better....it would be cool if they did a joint, but Hanashi's already dropped this T__T
