Lots of comedy, and the drama/deeper plotline at around volume 6/7 isn't very depressing, and isn't very hard to understand either. So overall, I'd say art is mediocore, comedy is awesome, always smiling when I'm supposed to smile (aka no stupid or overly-cliche jokes), and the romance factor is very nice.
However, it'll be tedious to follow if you are planning on following the translations online, since following the current pace (1 chapter per 1-2 months) it'll be another two or three years before all 14 volumes are finished. I myself want to just stop reading at volume 9, because Karin just seems so happy right now, and I really don't want to finish this manga on a sad note.
I'll see it through to the end though, definitely recommend this as a fun read.
BY THE WAY - don't pay attention to anyone making the "tragic" comments. They misunderstood the manga. No girls that are involved in the story or are introduced as characters actually work "there", aka in the love hotel. As for the cliche plotline comment, this isn't a spoiler either, but things turn out...ok...for the "tragic life of mother and son". That much is expected though 🙂
Ugh...yet another thing (sorry, I realize I'm making this comment way too long), but the first impression that I had of this manga before even reading it, which stopped me from reading it for a while, was that this would be a manga about a girl going "Keeeeeeeeeee look a booooy so kawai! ". That's not what it is. Yes, I realize that makes me sound retarded...but just clarifying.
