Description
From Nagareboshi Manga:
Aria’s parents have been gone since she was very young. Thus, she’s had to grow up in a “foster home” of sorts, and was raised by nuns. On her 16th birthday, Aria recieves a present in the mail– a ring from her “Daddy-long-legs” (a man who protects someone from afar while they’re growing up)! All of a sudden Aria’s life is thrown into chaos. Men try to run her over with cars, shoot her, and kidnap her. Relief comes in the form of Canon, who claims he’s her bodyguard. But can he keep Aria safe forever?

Good read

This was good. I liked the story. It was so sweet. and the characters were lovable too. I though Junguji was despicable. and his reasoning was so retarded. From the description. it would've been nice if the series was longer..

I like all Mitsuki Miko's art, cute, beautifully drawn, with unexpected characteristics. Combined action and romance, the result is still good. The guy looks like a real gentleman, protecting and fighting for the sake of the girl he loves (and the scene is not sucks like other shoujo manga which put the same plot).
Even though when it comes to the end the story grows faster and seems like in a hurry. But still, it is interesting.

A nice story...

I’ve read it a couple of times, and it still holds a charm to it that I like. While it isn’t one of the best manga I’ve read there is still something about it that makes me want to read it a few more times…

Plot- Not exceptionally unique, the twists are nice and I for one didn’t expect some of them.

Characters- Aria is a nice character, what I liked the most about her is she seemed like every normal girl! She didn’t seem overly brave or confident, nor overly cheery and she wasn’t too much of a wimp who absolutely needs a mans guidance and protection (which is hard to pull off since she’s a character in a body guard manga) she is quite capable by herself and can make her own decisions. As for Canon he has the perfect attitude to level off the heroin and to be a body guard, level and cool headed and yet he can become very passionate about certain things if provoked. A very nice duo!

Art- Nice, I enjoyed it, it isn’t exceptional but it isn’t that bad either.

Other- While I enjoyed the plot, the characters, and the art, the pace of the story was definitely lacking. The first part was fine and then suddenly… everything just seems to be going a bit to fast (especially in the very end.). As for the antagonist… I was very disappointed by his reasoning behind why he did everything. The reasoning was so unrealistic; couldn’t there have been any better reasoning for him? So the ending left me a bit disappointed but overall I enjoyed the manga. If you have time this would be a nice quick read to pass time.

7/10 – Really liked it

My desire to read this story sprung from an aftershock of slow release of Mitsu Aji blood, hehe (another work from the same mangaka). It was a fortunate desire. I like the story. The illustrations is good too.

I loved the combination of Romance and action. Usually its always just romance but this hint of fighting was interesting. It made the guy look manly and not just a hot prince perfect guy that mangaka's always portray in shoujo manga's. Short, good read. recommend it (:

I expect better from this mang-ka actually. Seriously, the ending -not-the-best-and-great-ending if you ask me. I love the plot the beginning of the story, guy protect the girl he loves? How cool is that? But, with only 3 chapter ( If I not mistaken) the character development not very good enough and I expect more romance between Canon and.. what this girl name? Yeah, sue me!

Not very bad and not very great either. Hmm. If you expect something less romance, here the "good" choice?

Mitsuki Miko's art has definitely matured and improved by tons in this one, all characters are super pretty, and moderately well developed enough, though a bit on dimensional.
You can't predict the numerous twists in the stories until they actually happen, which makes it an interesting five chapter read.

The pace is well adjusted, almost a bit too slow with some chapters, but the dialogue and characters make us feel warm and sweet inside. Not too much action romance wise, but whatever chaste pg11 romance IS there, is executed well.
