My honest review, it's better to just read the novel.

It started off with a very strong beginning, especially in the first two seasons. However, after that, the events drifted away from the novel, and the story became shallow. Unfortunately, the artist removed some of the best scenes, and the art quality declined from good to average, especially when it came to the protagonist's design.

As for the side chapters, it would have been better if they had adapted some parts of the novel, but they weren’t bad overall.

My rating for the first two seasons is 10/10, while the rest is 7/10, only because I love the main characters.

The chances of me rereading it are zero. If I ever revisit it, I’ll only read the first and second seasons, and for the rest, I’ll just go back to reading the novel.

Started off wonderful

Loved the beginning. The characters were intriguing and the attraction and chase were chef's kiss. After the leads got together, the story took a wrong turn. The pacing became choppy and rushed. Skipped scenes every few panels. The storyline became boring. No character development in FL. She was simply content being a damsel in distress that needed helping, despite her wanting to "prove herself." Maybe the story skipped over that part and didn't drive that point in. But I didn't see how she exactly "proved" herself worthy. ML's obsession with her feels repetitive and suffocating.

Manhwa focuses on details the novel didn’t emphasize…

About halfway through, I found out there was a novel and it became available on the same platform that I was reading the manhwa on. I fell in love with a story even more once I read the novel.

However, as we’re approaching the end of the manhwa I am finding that many things are being added or at the very least emphasized in a way i dont that I don’t remember from the novel.

I really dislike how towards the end of the story (in the manhwa) the ML mother, the maid, and Dr. all know the FL is pregnant, but don’t tell her. They treat both the ML and the FL according to whatever the ML Mom tells them…

I mean the entire story is about how the FL becomes strong and independent alongside/with the assistance of the ML and the second male lead so the mother acting like this, and everyone else around them going along with it goes against the whole premise of the story (in my opinion)… I don’t remember this from the novel at all or at least I don’t remember it being emphasized the way it has been in the manhwa.

I have to compare it to the novel, since I read that one also. In general it is a good story that keeps you waiting to know what's happening next and sometimes I even found myself cursing at the decision of reading of the story only to notice the author was just teasing us, the readers, I don't see how else to put it.
I enjoyed a very smart female lead, truly capable more than any other character in the story, but if not handled well you can actually dislike this part, and in this case it was not Camellia's fault but the other characters fault, admiring Camellia in a way that felt a bit cheesy and ludicrous at times.
I also feel like the author had to put more than one love interest for Camellia since the girl is THAT amazing and THAT beautiful, but then didn't know what to do with said love interests...
The comic feels more ... Childish, like for a younger audience and some events are more enjoyable in the novel.
I enjoyed the reading but the author needs to execute it better, they had a very nice perspective of the world created in the story but ended up taking the path of giving us, in a way, a rushed and silly version of it.

This is my favorite in the fantasy/princess romance type manga/manhua. A lot of people have issues with the ML. I find him delectable. A lot of guys are quiet and reserved; I think he fits the cool male role quite well. The FL is adorable and I feel like the pacing, character development, and plot are really good. The drawings are also really nice. Overall, it is the most exciting of the stories I've read... And I've read about 100. It's got some pretty good translators as well. The only irritating thing is that the updates are coming slowly. I hate it when a series gets dropped. It's one of the only things I really dislike about these serialized manhuas.

Saw an ad for this and I had to wrack my brain why it seemed so familiar. It's basically the same back story as Light and Shadow. I'm sure the story will be different but the synapsis sent my brain hunting.
