My Favorite Among Her Works

Well, the first thing that attracted me to Cherry Juice was the art. (I'm a very superifical person, so sue me.) The cover art was exceptionally cute and so compelled, I read the first chap.

It didn't disappoint. I found the whole sibling thing pretty cute(this only works when the guy is the teasing type and not ugly). Otome wasn't bad either, though the whole thing with her dating the other guy was really irritating.

I mean, come ON! Anybody who's got half a brain can tell right away: he's NOT the one for her. But in her defense, Minami wasn't exactly being nice either, so I guess they're into mind games.

The art was cute enough, and the story pretty interesting, though it was definitely FAR from the best. (In this category, I'd say it loses in the 'love-your-sibling" type stories.)

If you're a newcomer to this manga-ka's works, then this is for you. It's got everything a shoujo needs.

20 chapters is a nice length for the story. Yes, it's a typical shoujo story, but, this is the shoujo genre. The storyline and artwork all fitted and it's a nice story. Very addicting once you've started, even though it's predictable. If you're looking for an atypical shoujo with a deep storyline then this isn't for you, but overall a good read ^^

Not only is it hard to follow what's going on, but the interactions between the two are based on a cheap physical attraction and sexual curiosity. There's no substance here beyond passable art.

Now, typically I would be grown out of this type of shoujo (kinda), but still, this particular manga gave me pleasant memories while it lasted. The art itself, is not that great, I seen better, even back then, but it still give you doki doki moments that will probably fail for older readers. People already critiqued it, so I won't bother, but, one thing I would say is that please read if you are into you typical, cute, fluffy shoujos- if not, well, duh, go!

Well... the way I saw it was that he liked her so didn't want to become siblings. The things that kept me from throwing up was that they weren't exactly blood related. So that's all good 😀

One of those manga with a simple story, full of cliche (sibling not related by blood and the manga is clearly focused on them, a small triangle relationship, how can you not predict how this will end) but nice to read =)
It's really heartwarming and funny, make you feel good after reading it =)

The only thing that bug me is how can she never realized from the start that she love him more than anyone.

I absolutely loved it. I thinkk it is one of the top 10 material. I give the art a 10 and the story a 10. I definately recommend you read it. I think it is one of her best mangas.

This is such a typical shoujo that it really makes me angry, mind you this does not mean is a bad read. I have just personally read too many of them so it's quite predictable. The story would have been more enjoyable for ME if the drama had been tone down a bit. Towards the last volume i really just wanted to finish it quickly and see it all end so i finally got a hold of raws and what do you know up until the last chapter there were still issues to be solved. Honestly you must be in the mood for this genre but other than that its a good fluff.

hahaha~ i love this manga! i have one and i keep on reading it over and over again! it is so cute.... but i gave it a 9 because the protagonist girl is like any other girl in a typical shoujo manga.... but then it is cute and quite easy to understand

well... i never liked too much drama... i don't like heavy plots and dramas because it makes me wanna cry... this manga is just interesting and not something that is manga-that-will-make-too-much-complications-for-the-characters type of manga.... i really liked this a lot...

the ending was great... after a year in kyoto minami declared to everyone that they are siblings no longer!!!!!!!! go minami and otome!!!!!!!!!!! anyway, minami looks like the hero in orange planet but different color after a year stay in kyoto... i agree, he looks so mature... kawaii!!!!!!!!!

hehehe.... but then the plot is getting heavier but not as heavy as the dramas i watch on television...

i have not yet seen the last volume and the 2nd to the last volume but i soon hope that tokyopop and the scanlators out there will release it soon enough....

keep up the good work HARUKA FUKUSHIMA!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah it is just like akuma de sourou but the plot of akuma de sourou is too heavy... good thing it did not make me cry... hahaha!

oh... and Darknemo2000, the girl is not two timing... truth is she is just confused because minami is her brother and she likes amane but she just can't make up her mind about minami... k? :-)
