I don't see whats the hype about. I mean, its really gotten stupid lately. At first it was decent, but now its not even that. Yeah, but the person right below me said things perfect. I really agree.

Well i love the storyline!!<though a bit bit simple at the same time its also very complex (behind the scenes of course ^_-) i Love the author's writing style!! the characters personalitlies are really fresh (GO Hikaru) (Kei is hott!) and romance is soooooo Kawaii!!! buttttttt for some reason i cant seem to remember what happens when i read it ~_~ hmmm i keep ending up re-reading it like 50 times ~_~ maybe im just an idiot T^T but i always pretty much remember the stuff that happened in other mangas nooooooooooo......... time to re-read it............again ~_~"
hmmmm i dont see any similarties to kare kano i read the manga and watched the Anime series but its more serious i think special a kinda gives off the "Everyone's crazy so wth!" kinda feeling XD kare kano has more drama!

This manga sure is going great. Really has a good plot and humor is also very much nice, smooth and original. And best part is, it has the most natural touch the way things go between characters, friends. Kei's behavior for example is not too mushy and dense ol Hikari has a reason to be dense. She's just too energetic to see things around her. Not like a typical idiot for no good reason at all to be dense.

This is one of the best Manga. People should go till the end of this. This project must continue because for sure this series is promising to be like Fruba and even better.

One of my top 3 favorite manga. I'm addicted but there are only 8 chapters scanlated so far (luckily it's an active project) =]

I love anything where the main leads are either enemies, rivals or just don't get along well. Typical, I know but such romances can be so cute! (I read this awhile back so my memory might be fuzzy)

The side-characters are great. Just that the mains. Oh God the mains. This mangaka deserves an award for being able to make you go to edge and just... Hikari is so unbelievably dense. It's insane.

It was okay but I think it should've been shorter. There were unnecessary things and it felt stretched.

I like her particular art style especially the eyes for some reason but the characters can look a little bit lanky.

I think if you're like me, wanting to find a romance involving rivalry that's cute. Go find something shorter because the female lead will seriously piss you off. However, it had its moments.

To me this is nothing more than the typical shoujo manga. Hikari is dense and completely clueless as to what is going on throughout most of the series, and Takishima always tries to keep everything a secret which is more annoying than suspensful. The artwork is okay but not wonderful or the best thing you've ever seen. The plot is cliche but I have to say that it is comical and will have you laughing. The manga is very predictable but is an interesting read regardless.

This manga wasn't bad at all, i mean hikari is pretty dense and it look a while for her to figure out her feelings but when she did, things got a lot better I love their relationship and the things they go through in this manga, however, The ending could've been better, i mean at least show them getting married or something to end the manga cuz the way the mangaka ended it was kinda like it didnt end at all hahahha XD. The things hikari and kei say to each other in the end was cute and all but there was no closure and i think marriage would've been a great ending
I liked it though so if you're interested in hot guys and pretty girls, strong main character who's not a crybaby wimp who runs away all the time and the idea of romance and friendship going through obstacles for love then i suggest you read this manga

Oh my god. I LOVE Special A! It's funny, cute and just awesome ♥ The art is lovely, as well as the storyline. I wish it was translated at a steadier rate though. I've waited SO long for chapter 24 and 25. I hope I don't have to wait as long for chapter 26 ;; And yes, when Hikari repetitively repeats her bit about wanting to beat Kei, it does get kinda annoying ;; But her funniness totally makes up for that! *wavers*

this could possibly be the most fun, cutest, and most awesome manga ever. the character personalities alone are enough to rival even host club, and while the main character is wonderfully smart, she is also a hilarious idiot at heart, but who isn't when it comes to affairs of love?
