Pursued by the mob, a young child seeks the protection of White Dragon, a deadly assassin with the ability to disguise his gender, and kill using water.
3 Volumes (Complete)

Okay, I'll be honest -- I started reading this because the main character could change sexes. I've always been interested in anything that addresses gender issues. But I found that while this was a fun action manga with some nice yuri at the end (yay!), it still didn't resolve the issues behind the White Dragon's psychology. I ended up feeling disappointed.

I mean, there's this whole legacy of the White Dragon's father that goes unexplored, as does the reason for the Dragon's ability to morph from man to woman. A lot goes unanswered, and the reader is left frustrated because of the lack of a proper resolution. I get the feeling that the story could be at least twice as long!
Still, it's heaps of fun to read the manga and to see the White Dragon fight with water. An interesting choice of weapon. Not to mention that the awesome lesbian who shows up in the last volume is HAWT, and I shamefully admit to falling for the yuri scenes. <3
I'm also disappointed that the little girl ended up being the White Dragon's romantic partner. What the hell... She's just a kid! And she's insipid, to boot. I would've thought that the White Dragon would need a partner who was more of an equal -- it wouldn't even matter if this partner was male or female. Heck, even the Black Dragon from the first volume would've been a better partner, lol.
Or maybe I'm just too twisted to appreciate little Ayaka's purity. I find her boring. Sigh.
Read this manga for the entertainment value, nonetheless. Some really cool action scenes can be found herein!
Was entertaining, even though it was really short
