Everything just happens to MC. He never actively does anything to advance the plot...not even when it's obvious that he should have been the one who took charge.
A delicate dude in constant distress.
1.) This is NOT a harem. MC only gets with one guy in the end.
2.) This is NOT an Omegaverse...so far. I'm at ch. 66.
3.) Yes. There's a Girl's Love route between the Villainess and the FL.
4.) The first ML who
sexually assaulted MC did apologize, recognizing he was wrong.
5.) This is EXACTLY like those stories where a girl transmigrates into a major or minor villainess's body except a guy wakes up in a minor villain's body instead.
When I say exactly I mean. Every. Single. Otome Isekai. Story. Beat. Is copied.
"Oh, hey, so my sister who's in charge of public safety tells me it's very dangerous these past few nights. She says not to go out, but of course I'm going to ignore her and DO JUST THAT."
Wow. You dumb fucking...
What, you couldn't do whatever you need to do a few weeks later? It's not like you have a time limit or even a money limit, MC. What the fuck?
All the ways the MC first meets the MLs are horrifically cliché and exactly like how FLs in other OIs meet their MLs.
MC literally runs into the Crown Prince face-first during a masquerade. Of course, he loses his mask which the CP picks up. 🙄
He THEN meets the Duke while trying to hide for whatever reason only to be nosy as Hell and "help" the Duke. 😒
The 3rd ML is, of course, a beast man. A wolf to be exact. MC conveniently gets thrown into the cage by the bad guys, where this ML was locked and going insane in. MC, of course, is able to lift the "curse" from the wolfman.
Oh, and
Every ML knows the MC is being framed by the 2nd Prince who wants to be CP. He wants to take away everything the CP has, including MC. Meanwhile MC is too fucking stupid to listen to the CP who tried to warn him.
The weird thing is MC has already finished the game. He knows who the bad guys are. He should know the 2nd Prince is not a good character. Yet, he doubts everyone except the 2nd Prince. Ugh.
Does MC go and verify shit for himself? To make sure the 2nd Prince really has nothing to do with anything?
The very plot-relevant things that happened when he was a child with one of the MCs? Did he ever even start to investigate it? Did he even think about it after being told about all of the mysteries and unknowns surrounding it?
No. Of course not. That would mean MC won't fall into stupid traps and be saved by the various MLs.
If you've read one otome isekai in a school setting with a crown prince fighting for his crown, a mysterious, tragic duke and a high ranking knight with his own sob story where all of whom are chasing the FL, who's also a saintess, and there's a "villainess" in love and betrothed to the CP then you 100% have read this manhwa.
Instead of the CP, Duke and Knight following the OI formula in which they fall for the Villainess, they fall for the Villain.
The greatest sin this story suffers from is that MC acts equally as stupid, illogical and insipid as the original FLs and the villainesses combined. It's so goddamn grating and frustrating to read just how unprepared and non creative he is about his situation despite knowing exactly what's going to happen.
And this idiot had literal years to figure shit out.
The worst part of all of this is MC had ALL of the pieces to advocate for himself. He never once tries to use all of the resources that he could very, ludicrously easily muster if he'd just bother rubbing two brain cells together.
Like, oh, you know, a wolfman's keen sense of smell. He could have saved himself from being suspected and almost banished for "dealing drugs" on campus.
But naaaah, an ML had to do the thinking for him.🙄😒
Also,
the inclusion of MC's real life sister who ALSO transmigrated was such a pointless plot device. She contributed nothing.
What a waste of an exciting premise.
Anyway, I'm looking for other otoko isekai where the male MC transmigrates into a straight otome game/book/etc and all the OG!ML falls for him instead.
