Description

Overall i thought this story was okay.... the misunderstanding trope was fine, but what i didn't like was how manipulative and possessive ML becomes....

like legit emotional abuser tactics at some points, just bc he is so possessive of MC and although he kinda calms down toward the end, there is a portion of the story where MC is also noticing ML's behavior and is low key uncomfortable with it, but it never really resolves and MC doesn't really speak up to ML about it....

that whole issue kind of made me pissed off for MC, and while the do live "happily ever after", it still feels low key like they're towing the line of being an abuser and victim relationship...

Frustrating but

Like almost everyone said, the initial parts were frustrating. If you love miscommunication drama blowing up into a final, euphoric climax... Well this is sorta there. It did feel very liberating when the misunderstandings got cleared up but... These guys wasted YEARS of their time. What a shame. Remember kids, communicate and talk!

Jokes aside, art is pretty and the characters are pretty sweet, though completely flawed. Still, I won't yuck on whoever's yum if they really like the miscommunication trope.

Gave it 5/10 because it is a frustrating read at first, and its just a pretty meh read since it's not very gripping or moving. The side story with the mom did make me tear up tho. It's cute when the family tries for their kids.

Overall, eh. A good read if you got the series on sale or for free with points, but I wouldn't buy this for the full price.

There's a lot of hot scenes, but it's hard for me to ignore how grossly possessive, needy, and controlling the seme is. Uke just forgives him like oh well he's hot so let's resolve things with sex and barely communicate.

One word to explain the whole manhwa: misunderstanding

Main story: Annoying af, the misunderstanding was allover the place. I kinda struggled to finish it. Side story: I thought that it would change my mind about the manhwa but well it made it even worse. Another misunderstandings, the plot is dull. You might have thought that if they finally ended up together it will be a cute side story about their love. NO! They're still not freaking talking and only fucking all the time. They hide the truth from each other and it's just so fucking stupid. I hate that trend where side story is like another season 🥴 And in this situation it's another season of misunderstanding. Oh and to add up to that MC IS A FUCKING DUMBASS I HATE HIM SO BAD.

It's really crazy how both of them misunderstood each other for many years and when the time came to resolve it all, they got into even bigger misunderstanding. Then MC kinda got everything right, but was gaslighting himself that he was just delulu. Overall the MC is kinda stupid and doesn't notice anything around him. You may think wow he didn't get that this super handsome guy was crushing on him? Well he also didn't get that he's 2nd most popular among girls at school.

Story is really fine, but it really lacks some ✨spice✨. Also the ML? So pretty. Idk which look I like best on him, but I'm a huge fan of pissed off one and smiley one.

Edit after reading side story: Awfully painful. You'd think that after establishing a relationship there would be more talking and explaining. I'm deducting half a point.

The love interest and the mc seem like they stepped out of different genres. Typical controlling and possessive manhwa top but combined with such a naive and passive partner kind of foreshadows bad things in their future. Would be interesting if the author explores that. The art is fantastic except for the smut which is hilarious.

I'm on chapter 34 and im so glad i didn't drop this. You'll feel very desperate and frustrated with the two not communicating! But they eventually will ^^ and i just love the MC sm he's just a nice little guy <3 he's so cute.
