Like the title says, I'm looking for some classic stories like this. The best examples I can give are:
Yume de Aetara
Orange Yane no Chiisana Ie

Maybe LOVE HINA and AH MY GODDESS can be included as well. Although I didn't quite like it as much, I guess you can include Mahoraba, but normally I avoid HS stories.

I just like these comfortable romances, where the drama is mostly caused by simple misunderstandings, but nothing truly unforgivable happens, and that the main guy earns the love by just being nice (i.e. no NTR, no cheating, no manipulation, etc.)

Please note that although they fall under the same general category, I felt that the MCs from LIVING GAME and MAISON IKKOKU were kind dicks.

Any suggestions?

I'm not really sure what you're asking for I haven't read your examples. These ones have drama/fantasy but not romance-related drama and the good guys are good guys
