I completely agree with you! I love our country but I hate our people... they waste our natural resources without concious... and the goverment should disapear... it is hopeless at this point, our goverent and our laws seems to be made to help bandits rather than people and our goverment feasts with our money whille a great part of our people starves... and they still hypocrytically wants to end taxes sonegation, too bad those taxes only go for their corrupted pokets...
It is a bit off topic but I just want to get this out of my chest... there was a case a whille ago that underaged boys stolen a car which had a baby inside... the mother of the baby tried to take him out of the car but the kids driven away with the baby still straped on the car. They draged the baby outside of the car... completely destroying the baby's body and after they got arrested the police wanted to judge them like adults and our beloved president sayd that he was against it because it wouldn't help stop criminality... That is enough! This country has reachen the maximum level of corruption a country can get! We need to do something and at this point it can only be done by force!
Other than that we are the country that most recycles garbage and has the most vast sweet water reserve not to mention our biodiversity... I just hope our goverment doesn't sell it away and our people stops ignoring those facts.

Former Army Brat, so I've lived and visited quite a lot of countries. To be fair, I don't remember much of Europe, since I was young, and it was quite a few years ago, but I'm glad I'm back in the US. Living in South Korea was an amazing experience; everyone was so nice there and visiting Beijing is something I'll always remember, but, once again, I'm glad to be back in the US.
Sure, America has issues, but so does every other country out there. Oh, and I'm one of those crazy people who actually think Bush is doing a better job than Clinton (looking at things right now). BUT historians have said that you really have to wait, like, 20 years or something before you can feel the full effect of a single president to determine if they were an overall "good" president or an overall "bad" president. The terrorism Bush is dealing with was inherited from other presidents, as is all the other issues of this day.
That being said, the president doesn't make a country, it's the people. And it's a pet peeve of mine when friends of mine rant about how horrible America is and how much better other countries are who have never even left the state they live in. You can't judge unless you have something to judge against.
