I was always partial to the ancient greek/roman names
Eurydice
Arachne
Athena
Creon
Antigone
Thisbe
Pyramus
Cincinatus
Cicero
Calypso
Too bad Oedipus made his name useless for years to come. I like the name, but you just can't give it to your kid. Orpheus would probably be a good choice, instead.
I like Thisbe, always have. But Cincinatus, despite his general awesomeness, isn't exactly something I'd stick my child with.

Haha you're right, ah another one, Penelope, can't forget Odysseus's wife. Hmm now that I'm on the subject, I'd say Hector is a cool name, Agamemnon is too long, Paris.... er that's supposed to be a guy's name, Helen, tho that's quite common.
Basically:
Calypso- if u want ur kid to be a really hot and sexy bitch who is filithy stinking rich from 5 divorce settlements.
Antigone- you want a feminist dyke
Arachne- arrogant dyke
Creon- snobbish douchebag
Helen- slut 😛
Paris- uhhh misguided fool or stupid blonde bitch? idk.

I like that name, but i am not one for names of "historical" figures, if your gonna name someone something, name them something original and not after someone, its just not a good idea 🤣

Eh? Thought I posted here.
Girl names
Sakura - Means cherry blossom. Even the meaning sounds beautiful.
Amy - beloved. I have no idea why I like this name
Sarah - lady/princess. Sounds cool when I say it.
Jamie - Girl version of James. gives off a tomboyish connotation.
Moe - Bud Sprout. I first heard it was a girl name (KoF). I thought was done as in English, then when I heard about the slang term moe, I got confused. I wish I knew how to pronounce it.
Guy names
Ken - Knowledge, how sweet is that?
Christian - Another name I have no idea why I like it.
Ethan - another cool sounding name.
Darius - make the person sound strong IMO

I don't really have any particular names I like. Whenever I am prompted to choose one (RPGs and the like) I just take one from a book I've been reading or some music I've been listening to lately (Maetl, Hce, Saure, Kinbote, etc., bonus points if anyone actually knows where those are from).

I'm beginning to think you're the lead of an ecchi manga. By the way, did you ever post your pic in the thread of the same name?

That is a literary device, not a name
I heard it used as a name somewhere. No idea what it means, it just sounds cool.
Glados is a bitch. She made me kill the companion cube, the only friend I'll ever have. 😢

I believe it means "God through the machine," it's a term for when something is basically resolved through divine intervention (or some similar means) in literature. Like a hero suddenly learning a new ridiculous attack that destroys all of the enemies during a battle.

Well, to resolve this, since this year Im learning literature and I am now learning Croatian Renaissance but I have learned Antic literature, It means this, when in a Greek tragedy nothing can be resolved through fighting anymore, a character is lowered unto the stage by steel wires, this character represents God and he solves the problem either by killing everyone or by solving it through some other means!!
