I disagree... the whole point of reading yaoi for me is to get rid of excessive boobs and panty shots in hentai manga... in which the girls are usually whore-ish and look inhuman, with huge breast and slim waist x.X

About the amount...
More than 1000 of original yaoi mangas and 200 doujinshis (the ones in my hardisk). I didn't even count the ones I've burnt into CDs and DVDs... (too lazy to check XD)

Quite a lot. Though quite a bit of it was plotless stuff, when I was still only interested in smut and nothing else. Thankfully, there's a lot of meaty and interesting stuff to keep me going. :>

Hmmm... too bad there aren't too many yuri series worth reading(not very interested in school life stuff).

I counted until 1400+ then i lost count O_O.. endless yaoi perhaps??.. Then i started the raws hunting so yeah its immense now 😛

🤣 Same here. I know I've read well over 1000 titles over the past 4 years, actually maybe even more than 2000 since I've read so many djs for PoT and a whole lot of oneshots. But that's all including raws, which is also a lot.

Exactly, over the years you just forget to count, there are soo many DJ's out there, plus unliscenced titles, and on-going titles, that i seriously don't get how i keep up a ha.. Oneshots are huge part of the addition to them too.. over these past few years yaoi has blown into immensely huge proportions which is good yay!

That theory sounds plausible though. Many of the shoujo mangas that I've read has have their share of that Knight in Shining Armor who helps the Damsel in Distress. (more than once. The cycle repeats, again and again. ugh)

on my computer now, i have about 250ish... but considering ive had to reformate my laptop like three times, and lost all of it, i'd say i've read like 800 aprox...

Hundreds probably... Let's see.... 1-3 mangas/oneshots/series per day since 2007 til today, every single day... Do the maths... Now, it's the only genre I read. I can't read any other genres.

171 on my reading list.
1043 on my complete list.
13 on my unfinished list.
10 on my on hold list.

So that's like, 1237. Minus a few for the random Shoujo/Shounen, Josei/Seinen that I've read. Plus a few hundred more for those series I've read and haven't yet added to my member list. I've got 55GB worth of Yaoi.

So to answer the question... A lot? lol. XP

Something around 470, but somehow most yaoi manga don't have a plot or a great story so at the moment I'm hoping to discover some good ones -.-
But non of them where oneshots...
