wow, so u guys actually count the mangas you read?
For normal manga, the series tend to be long and memorable, but yaoi are often one-shot and tends to be few chapters long.

For me, the problem is that I don't notice it when i'm reading shonen-ai.
I think I read a couple as a kid and didn't really noticed it, like Demon Diary

it looked like a perfectly normal manga........
and it still looks like perfectly normal manga (i mean manhwa)

I think I read about 30 or so, I've been real addicted to it ever since i turned 18 and left to university (as if that's an excuse)

I blame the girl's hormone
and super-cute bishi boys

yeah, I don't remember how much I read either....though I feel a bit more stupid and emotionally damaged every time I read one. I stopped reading it because it's a like a drug that hurts instantly and lasts forever....

From my list, both public and not, a little over a thousand. I know that I've read many without keeping tabs of them though.

Completed probably a two-digit number. I haven't counted those I didn't finish though. A lot of them are crap or boring and not woth reading at all.

Lol, this. O_O I'm pretty sure I've tried to read well over 60-ish, but out of those I actually completed, the amount would be half of that. And those I didn't bother to read are mainly one-shot collections or obvious PWP.

I've read some of the posts in this thread, and at first I was surprised by some of the large numbers some members are pulling out, but you know it's really not that much when you consider that more than half of all Yaoi are less than 2 volumes long. ._.

I don't mind PWP, if they have good art and are funny, etc. not cliched or annoying, but the majority of them are not. Some don't really have heavy smut but the plot and characters are just as stupid. O_O If I counted those I tried but didn't finish, the number would be much larger but I don't really remember them.

I don't think I've had that much time to have read thousands of them even if they are only one or two volumes. lol
