Do you bump old threads?

Why yes, yes I do. 8'B There's not that many new threads out there, so there's nothing to do but bump the older ones that can bring forth more discussion. Admittedly, some good threads often die out when people bump other threads, but that's because those threads get moved all the way to the back of the archive and people don't bother looking for old topics to post in.
I once bumped older topics from 07/08 that had some good discussions but never saw the light of day because of all the newer topics that were created. =O proud
I don't do it for post counts (not anymore xD) I do it because I'm bored... and I want to help the community. 0:'D

I have to thank you again. It's been a while since I've had this much d**k on my computer. :'3
I do that all the time.
It's called the Polite Bump spree trademarked by me. 8'D
I used to have lots of them, but my reason was never to up my post count or anything. ... That doesn't really sound believable coming from me, eh? ___ I just wanted more discussion in this place! That's all. Just providing a healthy stimulus to the forum.

I really try not to. Clearly the thread has died so I feel no need to rise the dead.

Not one bit. 🤣
Actually, I just bumped an old thread. It's one of mine that was asking about the Akatsuki rings in Naruto.

I bump them when there's something specific I wanna discuss about, or when I'm bored. And I'm bored a lot. I'm in love with the weather thread which dies pretty fast. Someone should bump it. hints

Well, Im not intending to bump ing, but I just wanna vote, and express my own opinion. 😁
Im not interested (much) in post count, what good is it anyway? 😃
But I do scared of some others that would just gonna scold ; "WT* some few years old thread revived" or something. 🤢
Isn't it better to post in old post with the same "theme/question/looking for" than just make new post? Appreciate history a little bit. 🤣

sometimes, when I find some old interesting topics. When everyone is on holidays there are lots of threads and people comment all the time but these days, as we have to work/study, there aren't many, so MU is rather quiet..

I picked the first option.
Normally when there's a topic I want to talk about, and start a thread I do a search first. During that search I run across interesting topics (most of the time not even related to my key search words). I open those up in a new tab. Make my new thread or comment on the existing thread on the topic, then circle back to those threads that caught my interest.
I've bumped up .... 4 threads this week alone, and still have 3 more old ones I want to comment on.
Well off the that other thread.
Yes yes, I know I make longwinded comments, but that's just me >.<
I should proof read my comments more, but I won't...
So keep in mind I'm filled with typos
