Oneshots/Short series please

I like oneshots and short series, but there are quite a few out there that are rather disappointing, and I do so hate to be disappointed. I'm looking for either oneshots or short series (1-2 volumes) that make you feel happy or go "awwww" when you read them. Preferably romance and comedy, but they don't have to be.
Similar to things by Nakahara Aya, or Motomi Kyousuke...
I don't really like Yaoi, but other than that, any genre is fine.

Yumeyume Kirakiradou is a really cute oneshot. It might fit what you're looking for.

I have to recommend Yuu Watase's I Won't Let You Become a Star, because it's one of my favorite one-shots 🙂
I just recently finished A Cat that Loved a Fish and that was a lovely one-shot. Beautiful art and a sweet, poignant story.
If you haven't read Angel's Share, you should. It might not seem like a genre you'd be into at first... but it's only 8 pages, and I promise, it doesn't disappoint.
Anya Kouro was a heartwarming one-shot. Typical school romance genre, but with a spunky heroine and a touching story. I recommend that one, too 🙂
I also recently finished Bitter Trap (TAKAGI Shigeyoshi) - another one-shot with a spunky heroine. Lots of comedy and a sweet romance.
If you want to overload on "Awww!" without romance, there's always CLAMP's Rex. A full volume of all the "Awww!" you can handle. XD
Kiyohiko Azuma's Wallaby is hilarious and sweet, so that's another one to check out.
And finally, we have You're My Girlfriend to round out the set. Another hilarious short manga, this one a romance with (yet again) a spunky heroine. This is by Maki Minami, who is probably better known for Special A.
