Why did you lump manhwa and manhua together?
This. There should be a choice for manhwa-only and manhua-only.
On the topic, I like manga and manhua. No manhwa for me, korean stories are either too dramatic or slapstick for me.

I like Manga and Manwha both, I especially like Korean art work. 🙂
Don't believe I have read a Manhua, unless I missed it while scanning genre.

I love both really. I find I've been avidly following quite a few manwha these days, mostly stuff scanlated by Evil Flowers like Ciel, Arcana and Dear My Girls I really like them because of the unique and strong heroines they have, the gorgeous art work and also beacuse of the unpredictability of the plot.

I mostly read mangas but - to be honest, it doesn't make a difference to me at all.
It's more or less the same thing to me just that they happen to be from various countries.
The direction of reading does change but that doesn't really bother me - as long as the story and drawings are well I dont really care where its from :3

I prefer manga, perhaps too much.
This is mainly because when I pick up a manhwa (or any western comic), I automatically start reading it the wrong way. XD And I live in Australia. =(
As for manhua, well, I don't think I've read any.

manhua/manhwa if its very good, otherwise, manga!
(but i think i haven't found any manhwa that is REALLY good)
shame there is no semi purist. since,
only one that isn't manga that i think really good.
only one manhwa i read which is only decent.
no webcomic for me, too much white space...
grammar mistake is intentional, grammar nazis need their entertainment.

Manwha doesnt hold a candle to manga.
its art is better, almost on the level of good hentai, but not porn, even manga cant keep up with this. however, story wise, not a single manwha is worth getting into unless you have a synopsis of the whole thing, and someone to tell you its good.
there are ones that are ok, like the breaker, but if it wasn't for new waves continuation, the breaker would have been among the worst i read because of its ending, which still pisses me off.
and than you have others that just release so slow you wish you never got into them in the first place. you know the end will suck, but its like you have to run 100 miles and are a snale.

I think its kind of hard to compare because there's so much more manga out there than manhua or manhwa, at least on the websites where I read. But I do prefer manga. After getting used to manga its hard for me to switch to manhwa and get used to reading left to right again and the different types of names.
anyways when I first read manhwa I started with Hwang Mi Ri and I really liked it (forgot the name) so I decided to read another and was like, isn't this basically the same storyline as the other one? All of her stories are too similar to another. Seriously, how many delinquents are there in Korea?

Well Nagai Go has 116 series. Shows what kind of people are posting in here (most of you like gay sh.. and harem and ecchi, reading most of the topics makes me SICK). We need more godly manly mangas like Hokuto no ken, Grappler Baki, Violence Jack, etc.

i prefer manga, but there are some good manuha and manwha as well. but shoujo manwha heroines almost always look the same, even their hairstyles.
